A Homemade Pump. Yes a Pump, not a cylinder.

electron,

If you made 1/4 gains in December with 3 in hg for 10 minutes….why did you increase time/force?

I know Avocets program avocates increasing sets and time, but I think Avocet himself would advise you to stick with something that is working…until it stops working.

What seems to evade many in PE is…MORE IS NOT ALWAYS BETTER!

Most of December was 3½” hg for 20 minutes, only the first week was 3” hg.

Other than messing up for a couple months, I am changing one variable at a time, to notice the results. Isn’t that what we were doing in your thread?

What are your results, do you have a progress thread?

Yes, thats the idea, change one viable at a time. HOWEVER if you are getting good results…I believe I recommended sticking with it. If I didn’t, I should have!

Me? Hell, I posted that thread because of all the bonehead crap I’ve done (and STILL do) that doesn’t work…like change 3 variables at once, and IGNORING PI’s!

Right now I’m really trying to take my own advice and go back to one variable.

The latest thought that I’m trying to experiment with is adding EXPANSION during PE as a MUST HAVE. If you then fit that into the rest of the PE rules I laid down, I think results will be even better.

I found that my best gains came when I got good expansion during the exercise, but little contraction afterward.

The problem is that I’ll be running an experiment of say…15 minutes of pumping, enough to get good expansion, then try daily, every other day, and try and see what every 3rd day does.

The problem is I’ll get enthusiastic and add PE wts for a few hours and blow the experiment by adding another variable.

I’m in the middle of being good during this experiment, and will let you know.

This one is to get the penis up to proper temp, expand it under temp with pumping…then clamp off the expansion and use cold wash cloths to cool of the penis in the expanded state.

First time I saw some really good results, but what I’m trying to do is measure daily, cold at 5 in hg and see if 2-3 day wait leads to lengthing.

Once I find that, I will do that routine and see if it makes good progress.

First day very little shrinkage, second day of rest led to longer flaccid during the day, I will measure again tonite at 5 in hg. If it is longer, I may repeat the protocol. Then I may try extending it to 3 days rest and see if I get even more expansion.

I still believe it is possible to see much faster growth than most people think is possible, if we get it JUST RIGHT!

For you, you may try IR lamp to warm up and keep at proper temp during PE, then turn off the lamp and apply cold washcloths to the tube and cool the tissues down before you take it off. This can be done rather quickly and I think may increase the effectiveness of your routine.

By the way, I saw a 1/4 in girth gain in about 2 weeks experimenting with this. But I had a bunch of variables going on with time and sets.

As you know I believe if you overdo it, you will get shrinkage, which can mask any positive effects you have attained with proper technique.

Plus, I am sure that as you increase girth, you can decrease length. If you don’t take that into account, you may think you are overdoing it when in reality, you may be making good gains, but it will show as girth first and length later.

I think because this is usually a fine line we must walk to make good or exceptional gains, is the reason most of us have to “stumble in” to a proper workout, and just as easily “stumble out” too!

Thats why I really think if you are getting good gains with a certain set of perimeters…don’t change them until you stop getting gains. THEN AND ONLY THEN make changes, one perimeter at a time.

Ok, just finished measuring cold, under 5 in hg in the tube. I measured a full 1/4 inch longer than yesterday.

So…tonite I will do 10 min. heat (IR) about 10-15 min in vacuum tube (pumping), then clamp for about 5 minutes, THEN use cold cloth to cool down my penis in the expanded state.

I will use a therawrap to try and maintain the cooled expanded state as long as possible.

I will then measure cold in 5 in hg over the next 2-3 days and see the results.

Wow! This suck & release pump sounds really cool! I have a Venus 2000 which can do something similar, but it doesn’t seem to suck hard enough. Could someone make a parts list and set of instructions for making this better sounding one? Or is anyone considering to make and sell them?

Thanks for the great thread!

If you start at post #18 of this thread, electron has an excellent guide on how to build one of his units. I’m hoping to getting around to finishing my new setup and will post some pics… if I can get off my sorry ass…. :)

I think I found a used Omron timer delay relay like the one electron used, but want to make sure. It looks the same. Does it have the number 18Y90M on the side of it? Is there some other way to make sure?

You want the Omron H3CR-F:

pdf

Omron makes a bunch of timers and the model numbers can be confusing. The reason you need the H3CR-F is that it has two independent timers that can be set for different on-off times. Keep searching Ebay. I found mine for about $20.

Thanks xaxxat,

I’m pretty sure the one I was looking at (on eBay) is a H3CR-F from looking at the pictures of all the Omron H3CR models. It has the ON & OFF lights on the top left and the off/on time adjustments on the top/bottom right. I went ahead and bought it for $35. It’s the first piece of my new toy to be.

I’m looking at the vacuum pumps on eBay too, hope to get one this week. I’ve seen pumps they call “aspirators” and wonder if they would work? I think if I could get a Gast it would probably be better though. And I hope I can find a soleniod valve like electron used. I like how he strapped on the timer to it.

Thanks for your helping me put this together.

want2b7, that’s good. The Omron timer is a really sweet device. As for pumps, the aspirators look as if they might be good enough. Some of them look downright sexy in their cute cases. You won’t need a ton of suction. Some of the ones I saw on Ebay will pull 22” of vacuum. That’s more than enough. If $ is no object, then a Gast or Thompson pump is the way to go. The pulldown time on a larger pump will be much quicker.

Asco is a major solenoid valve maker and I’ve seen lots of their valves on Ebay. Often you can find one dirt cheap. I’m using a 3-way valve on my setup. It makers for a more complete release on the release cycle.

Let us know how it goes…

Well, I got the Omron H3CR-F timer delay relay and won an auction on eBay for a Gast DOA pump. I’m stilll looking for a vacuum guage, solenoid valve and brass pipe fittings. I haven’t found brass fittings I like yet. I don’t really like the shape of the T’s from mcmaster.com, they don’t have the 8-sided body shape, but I’m sure they would work ok.

Electron: Where did you get your brass pipe fittings?

I tried to order some parts from Grainger, but they only sell to businesses. They have a local sales office but they said the same thing. Any ideas how I can buy from them? I’d like to get the muffler/silencer & a couple small $2 mufflers and a control valve (needle valve) from them.

I found a place to order Grainger parts: https://www.brooksco.com
They cost a little more, but it seems they’ll sell to anybody.

And I went ahead and bought brass fittings from mcmaster.com and a "Buy-It-Now" solenoid valve, so all I need now is a vacuum guage. Hope to have it all up and running in a couple weeks.

I have a link to a website with a RELATIVELY CHEAP PUMP . How are the sound pressure levels of a gast pump? The pump I linked to looks like it has the potential to sound something like a blender chopping up ice :P j/k Sound is a concern I have. Any suggestions on a quiet "relatively cheap pump" or advice on purchasing one from an online auction website?

It’s my experience that all vacuum pumps are somewhat noisy. The aspirators that want2b7 mentioned might be quieter, as they are designed for medical use and may have a quieter design. The Gast pumps are hard to beat. Thompson also makes good pumps. The oil-less diaphragm types are the best. The diaphragm types are quieter than the rocking piston types.

The best way to quiet down a pump is to build a baffle box to place over it, and to use some dampening material between the pump and the floor. I’ve had good results using neoprene rubber pipe insulation on the pump’s feet. A baffle box could be built out of a cardboard box and some eggshell foam. This could be placed over the pump. One would have to keep an eye out for the pump overheating.
