You remember those Chinese finger traps? I can’t help but compare the image in my head of pulling the ends of the Trap and watching it get thinner but longer. And seeing The Tissue around the three Chambers doing the same thing when hanging.

But there’s some members who recommend doing it this way. Hang but no girth work. But there’s others who say to light jelq in-between sets. I agree with that only in the sense of returning the glands to original temp and shape due to it being all wrinkled and a little cold.

But I haven’t got too into hanging yet. I’ve done 3 sets of 5 min. 5lbs roughly. While hanging I’ll keep a warm cloth against my base and around the shaft. I know some say heat doesn’t help with gains but I think maybe the extra heat will relax the ligs just that little bit more. Then I’ll warm and massage/jelq for maybe a minute or so to get my glands warm again.

I always do a 10-15 minute session of manual wet jelqs afterwards about moderate intensity.

Don’t you guys think it would be necessary and important to have some kind of jelq session at a good intensity after a hang? I know some pump or clamp after a hang too. But at least a jelq right?

You can’t lose girth from any exercise, simple as that. Only exception is significant EQ drop or something along those lines, but no exercise adds length on expense of girth or vice versa.

I would think that as you hang you are generally stretching all tissue including the tunica which will allow expansion in all respects not just length.

I think the way you worded your title and first part of your post is going to mislead most readers from your actual question located towards the end if your post. (Then again, I may have it wrong.)

Having been around since 2009 you certainly have a lot of experience with the search button and have researched that stretching alone does not cause a thinner penis.

Gains made in length only may cause the ratio of length to girth to created the illusion of thinning, but only after considerable length gains.

Should you go for length and girth at the same time? If that is your question, my answer is start with one method, see if it’s working, then add another. If you try too many things at once you risk not knowing what is working and what is wasting your time or what is causing negative PI.

Not gaining [or stagnating] in girth while lengthening or vice versa is NOT the same as losing girth—

I’ve maintained this for years— PE isn’t simply about ‘length’ versus ‘girth’— cell walls are three dimensional, so while ‘pulling’ by hanging or stretching may emphasize longitudinal response, if we accept the notion of plastic deformation then it is not doing so by narrowing the cell.

Similarly, while ‘plumping’ work— pumping, jelqing [especially dry], clamping— may emphasize girth, the cells is filled in three dimensions.

I may have to start up some PE again soon ;)

Yes, I’m sure. Stagnating and losing is not the same thing.
