Yeah, at 8.8 lbs I’m getting some red spots on the glans. However they do seem to go away during the day. It’s important though to do some light jelqs immediately after the hanging session as it helps. Also, I have noticed that if you squeeze the blood out of glans before putting the vaccum cap on, it helps preventing the red spots.

Taken on 05/15/2012 - BPEL - 5.6, EG - 5.1

Taken on 04/01/2013 - BPEL 5.9, EG - 5.4

Goal for 2013 - BPEL - 6.5, EG - 5.6

Why do you guys use tape with a vac hanger?? I’ve been using the vlc tugger hanging 5 pounds now and I haven’t been using any tape since I started hanging. Is there a reason I should or is it just to help prevent slippage or something ? Because so far no issues with that but I could see some slip issues once I get up around 10 lbs.

I believe it’s to minimize fluid build up on the glans and to protect the urethra from vacuum pressures. I only use tape if I’m going to do more than my usual two 30 minute sets.

I would like to know if there are other members also using the VAC based system for hanging purposes and if so what are there routines.

I’m also using the Vac4.1. Currently two sessions per day as follows:

Morning: heat pad for 10 minutes followed by 5 lbs for 30 minutes, then five minutes rest with light jelqing, then another 5 lbs for 30 minutes followed by light jelqing or light bathmate session then extender for an hour.

Evening: extender for a few hours, then heat pad for 10 minutes followed by 5 lbs for 30 minutes, five minutes rest with light jelqing, then another 5 lbs for 30 minutes followed by light jelqing

Seems I am making some gains but I’ve only been at it for a month or so. Will report back after a few more months.

How does it work?

How do these vac hangars work?

This thread is exactly what I was looking for - I too am likely going to be buying the Vac4.1 hanger, and was wondering if anyone likes this newer version more than the older models.

Can’t wait to get started. Any new updates from the original thread starters?

Here are the instructions

He’s showing how to use it with an extender but I just got some twine, a little clip and some 2.5lb weights. I tie the weights to one end and the clip to the other. Hook the clip onto the steel loop at the end of the vac cylinder. I’ll then sit in a chair with a piece of PVC pipe under my knees and let the weight hang over the edge of my chair. I do this just so the twine has something to slip over. Hope this makes sense.

I never had the older models but have had zero issues with blisters or slippage hanging up to 7.5 lbs for 30 minute sets. I tape over the urethra for longer sessions.

Does anyone know how much weight vac hanger can take?

I’ve wanted to get one for a while, but I’m still doing research and I’m still short on money.

Once I get into hanging, I plan to invest 1.5-2 hours a day, 7 days a week. My length goal is about 1” away so I don’t want to hit the wall because the hanger caps out at too low weight.

Start • 5.94''x4.92''

Now • 6.50''x4.96''

Goal • 7.00''x5.75''

I was reading through ironaddict69’s log and saw a post about using 15 pounds. I’m using 7.5 now with no issues and feel a real strong pull. Can’t imaging needing more than 15 lbs but I know some of the bib hanger guys hang with much more than that.

Placed my order for Vac ‘ADS’ 4.1 the other day…can’t wait to hang, hope it works for me. I too will be reading ironaddict69’s entire log before I begin. It’s lengthy as hell but I’m sure it’s got some great info in there, definitely need to put the time in to read it all.

I’ve actually dropped back down to 5lb sets but am closing in on 1 hour duration per set. I’m going to do a 1 hour 5 lb set in the morning and another 1 hour 5 lb set in the evening. Once I’m adapted to this I’ll start moving back up in weight. I feel I get more out of longer duration than heavier weight, but time will tell. I’m really liking the Vac4.1 and until I feel a need to use heavier weights then it can handle (which may never happen) I’ll stick with it.
