What would you guys say the main setback and risks are, if one would wrap all the way to the head while hanging?

This is going to sound real stupid, but I’ve been wrapping all the way to the head. Probably the reason why my amount of sets has been limited due to no comfort. I used to wrap the correct way when hanging BTC, then just switched along the way for some dumb reason.

I want to say maybe this is part of the reason I’ve seen absolutely no gains. Could I be correct, or am I way off. I hang solely SO.

Do you mean that you start your wrap exactly behind the glans? This won’t limit your gains. I do this and then I let a little foreskin go over the glans, so this amount of foreskin is packed under the wrap and will PREVENT fluid accumulation!!

I now at the same point, months without gains. I’m now on fulcrum hanging, and in three weeks I measure. When no gain, I take off 6 weeks.

Discomfort and as a consequence not hanging long enough or using enough weight.

I used to wrap over the head to prevent twisting. This worked but wasn’t as comfortable as traditional wrapping.

Wrapping to the head - as in starting the wrap right behind it - caused problems. No matter how hard I tried to make sure all the skin was covered, often a tiny sliver was left bare, usually under the head. Bad situation. That bit of skin gets pinched between the front of the wrap and the glans, resulting in a nasty, painful, blister-like fluid buildup after only a few sets. Even when I managed to cover all the skin, the front edge of the wrap was in direct contact with the head. Again, uncomfortable.

Starting the wrap an inch or so behind the head works best for me. This leaves enough free skin in front. When the hanger moves slightly forward the skin can roll partially over the glans.

Could be. You should have plenty of skin available at SO. Try wrapping farther back and see how it works out.

i got a new question for those veteran hangers…..

i’m using a BIB now (starter) i can’t seem to get it to stay away from the head…. it isnt sliding on the wrap at all, it just eventually gets close to the head beit the skin role over the head, or however….it just keep getting close to the head…too much head pressure at high weights… my wrapping that from the tutorial given by bigger himself and i think its fine. i stretch out my unit when i apply the hanger as well…
i guess its not gripping the internal structures well or something-

any suggestions?…( i do have a little bit extra skin on my cock…should i apply the hanger as if i were uncut? if so, how do i do that?)

Seriously, the BIB has plenty of adjustment.

a) Tighten it up. More. Tighter. It should hold firm when you give it the “Tug test”.

b) Adjust the toe-in screw closest to the head.

i got all that stuff down pat

to paint a picture:
it feels like the hanger, when i tightened it a lot is gripping to a “bar” inside my penis, and if i pull on it the penis goes with my hanger, if i pull to hard i get a sharp pain in my head and then the hanger doesn’t feel gripped onto that “bar” in my penis anymore, and the skin rolls over the head and the hanger is lower (closer to the head)

is the hanger suppose to grip tight enough that it doesnt get pulled off this -so to speak- “bar” inside my penis? because in some pics i’ve seen it looks like the hanger isn’t even tightened that much to a guys dick and is hanging with a lot of skin rolled over his head
