Hey man, I was just wondering if your PE weights could be used as an aid for cementing gains when someone is ready? I”m definitely not there yet, but from doing research on here and other PE sites, it seems you must continue to hang at lower weights for a good 4 months in order to cement what you have gained. So I was wondering if you could do the same thing by just wearing the PE weights for a period of time?

In short the answer is yes. When utilized for gain retention it would be the same for finalizing after reaching your goal or if you were going to quite PE for a period. 4 months seems a little excessive. All that should be necessary is to wear out beyond the natural healing cycle of your body and that should do it. I know many guys will do a maintenance jelq here and there and whether that is necessary or not is debatable.

2 or 3 weeks should be adequate, IMO
