How to keep gains while recovering from blister
So I know this topic has been discussed multiple times and I have searched for all the relevant threads but I was not able to find what I was looking for.
Yesterday I discovered, after a 25 minute vacuum hanging set, a small blister on my head. At first I started freaking out and then I slowly began to clear my head and accepted the fact that I would have to take at least a couple weeks off from hanging. After reviewing all the other blister threads, the common consensus is to quit all PE exercises until my blister is fully healed. However, I don’t want to lose my .25 inch gain in EL that I have achieved in the two months that I have been hanging. Is there any way to cement this gain without risking further complications to the blister? I’ve wondered if I could continue to use my Xleeve as an ADS while I take the two week break from vacuum hanging. Is the vacuum pressure created by the xleeve enough to cause my blister to pop or delay the healing process? I’ve also considered doing some light manual stretches to keep my ligs from strengthening. I feel like jelqs could cause to much pressure on the head and could result in the blister popping, so I will definitely avoid jelqs during these next two weeks.
Any thoughts or suggestions on how I can retain my gains while I heal from the blister? Thanks in advance.
