Do you ADS everyday?

Do you ADS everyday?

Greetings fellow hangers. Just need some input here. For those of you who ADS, do you do this every day? I’m trying to figure out a routine. Right now I do not ADS, but I am thinking it is the best way to go in addition to hanging. If I brought ADS into the equation do most of you think that would be overkill and I’d be overtraining? Thanks for any feedback.

My current routine is 2 days on, 1 day off:

Morning
Wet Jelq x 200 reps
Night
Hanging 3 sets x 15 minutes, 10 minutes inbetween sets
(using 7.5 pounds right now, after 1 month of 5 pounds)

In my experience, if you are putting in sufficient time hanging it will not be necessary to do the ADS route. In my zealousness I would hang and use the ADS on road trips, I discountinued the ADS very quickly with no negative effects. The hanging gave me almost 2 inches. It is very easy to “pile on” in this quest and it is not necessary.

I hear you about the piling on thing. So I will take your advice and back away from any ADS for now, and just stick with jelqing and hanging. How long you been hanging Vokey? 2 inches! Damn, that is awesome! Congratulations dude. I hope I can get something similar. Thanks for your input.

I’m relatively new to PE. Started the newbie routine in July and after 6 weeks decided I would slowly work my way into a hanging routine.

Yes congrats on the gains. I have been hanging and havent seen any gains, and thinking of going back to light weight ads’ing.

A good question for you is, what type of hanger are we talking about vokey? Vac or bib? Time? Heat?

I plan on hanging for atleast a year and then really assessing whether or not if it is right for me.

Kush, go to Bib’s site and read up on hanging for fatigue. This seemed to be what worked best for me.

Yah, I use a Bib-hanger as well. I have been hanging for about 2 years also, and have seen similar results as Vokey-almost 2 inches in side BPEL. I think the trick is to set a routine and stick with it. I am currently hitting a wall right now and do not seem to gain anymore. I am giving it another month or so to see if I can continue to gain. If not, then I will need to take a decon break is what many have told me. I think your angle that you hang at is key too. I currently hang S/O with the rice sock/duct tape fulcrum. I am hoping this angle achieves more gains for me.

Those that hang often use an ADS after and in between their hanging sessions in order to facilitate healing in the extended state. Therefore, use your ADS on the days you hang.

Just some suggestion about your routine: If you have time to Jelq in the mornings why not substitute another hanging session instead? Also, it is more common to use a maximum of 20 minute sets. You hung at five pounds for a month? You should have upped the weight a pound a week till you started reaching fatigue. You should have been up to eight pounds after a month. Do you know about fatigue and how to manage it? Try going to bib’s forum and read about ‘managing fatigue’, the information is invaluable. You will also want to hang every day, only taking days off if you have to. You want to stay ahead of your bodies healing process and taking days off interferes with successful management of fatigue. PE in general and hanging specifically is an art. You have to be really in tune with you body and what it can take in order to be successful. Read as much as you can from some of the old timers and their routines. Oh, good luck and happy hanging.

I have been hanging about 3-4months with the vacu-hanger. I started at I believe 5lbs, and upped it quickly to 7.5lbs. After about the first month I was using 10lbs all the time. I may have gotten fatigue in the first week or two, but from than on no such “workout”. After about 2 months of seeing little to no gains, I made a pulley setup where I can sit, watch t.v., and it will hang at a slight upwards angle right over my tv set; basically a little above s.o.

I have gotten some tip injuries, and am doing very light manual stretching while in the shower to keep my flaccid. I don’t know how long it will take to fully heal, but I’m hoping about 2 weeks. I will than either go to my bib hc, or back to the vacu-hanger with the green sleeves this time. I hope to feel a lig burn of some sort, but not sure what angle I should pull out now. I have tried s.o., and s.d., but not straight up. I seem to feel no pull at all straight up, and don’t know if this is a good or bad thing, but I do feel a nice tug between s.d. And s.d, id say at a 45 degree, or half in between.

Yo kush, you should try the SO angle with the RS/DT fulcrum. If you do not know what that is, go to Bib’s site. There is a link for it at Bibhanger “dot” com, and then do a search for Rice Sock/Duct Tape fulcrum. I tried a search for that here, and did not produce any results. There is some amazing fatigue with this angle.

I wear my PeniMaster every day. I think it is the optimal way to use in order to achieve gains.

Yes, ADS daily. Unless you can hang every day, without fail, an ADS is essential to keeping gains.
