Anyone have pulling in lower abd when hanging?

Hi all. When I hang I have a strong pulling feeling above the pubic bone in my extreme lower abdomen. Anyone else feel the pull there? Bib? With my new Bib I’m hanging 20lbs now and am getting a nice hard pull and couldn’t be more pleased. I just want to know about the pulling force I feel in my low abdomen just above the pubic bone. I’m hanging in a seated position with the weights hanging straight down between my legs.

The fundiform ligament attaches to your lower ab area and wraps around under your shaft.

Hanging SD or BTC? If so this is probably what you are feeling.

Fundiform is the pic on the top right. Notice how it attaches to the area you say you are feeling the stretch.

I’m having trouble visualising why you would want the fundiform ligament longer. The suspensory one is easy however.

789, it’s all about exposing inner shaft. I’ve been thinking about it, and I am ok with the fundiform ligament now. The suspensory and fundiform ligaments appear to be working in tandem to hold the inner shaft in, and so both must be stretched.

The suspensory ligament seems to allow you to pull it out and down, and the fundiform allows you to pull it mainly down.

Thanks for the clarification on this. I really like hanging and hope to see even the smallest increase in the next month or so. I do BTC hanging so I obviously want to get the most out of it that I can. I will keep going at my current weight of 7.5 lbs and see what happens in the coming weeks.

I had the lower ab soreness from BTC work from time to time. Not always though. I usually felt it most when doing crunches, lifting the weight up with my pelvis. I always like that. In fact, I always liked the sore ab thing.

As much searching as I’ve done, I’ve never been able to locate a site that specifically states the function of these two ligaments. Base on their shape and location, my guess would be:

Fundiform - the shape provides a sling in which the penis is suspended helping the erection to stay centered (side to side) during intercourse.

Suspensory - being attached to the top of the penis and holding it close to the pubic bone, it seems the function of this one is to maintain the erection in an upward or forward angle (rather than letting it droop down) during intercourse. Along with the attatchment of the tunica to the pelvic bones (on both sides) this one also helps prevent the penis from moving in and out of the pelvis with thrusts during intercourse.

Bib I do a thing I call the pelvic tilt. You call it crunches. I do the same thing as you picking the weight up with my pelvis. Sorta like tucking my ass in to raise the weight up higher from the floor.
