Again: BiB or VaC Hanging

The regular BIB is a lot bigger than the starter. It makes it more difficult to use.

AndroNYC is talking about the hardcore starter. The hanger has a little more room in it and there is no padding so it grips better. I have both the starter and the hardcore starter. Still not used to the pressure the hardcore puts on my shaft yet. So in the mean time I use the starter model.

Yeah, I’m just wondering what is meant by the regular Bib being “too big” or “more difficult to use” (except in SD? not sure why the angle would matter). How does its longer grip section hurt the hanging experience?

Think. 2” of penis compressed by the starter vs. what, 4” or so with the regular? Whatever section the hanger is clamping down on isn’t getting “pulled” like the rest of the penis.

I understand that aspect (it’s an extension of the idea that the vacuum hangers, attaching at the glans, should provide the best “full penis” pull), but other guys seem to suggest that the Starter is easier to use, and Andro’s comment about SD (vs. other positions) puzzles me. I’m not defending the regular model, just wanting to understand better why the Starter is preferred by so many :) I haven’t tried the Starter so I have no personal opinion on the matter.

About the “pull” issue, one could argue that a longer attachment (vac being the shortest, bib starter the second shortest, and the regular bib the longest) would allow for a safer attachment of larger weight (spread out over the longer attachment area) which in turn would exert greater stress on the “pulled” part of the shaft. It seems that some guys have gained with each of these three hanger options, so I don’t know which is best ultimately :) And then of course some guys (like ModestoMan) don’t gain from hanging no matter what they do…

What he said— and SD/ SO isn’t easier with the full size, just not less doable, simply because the larger size is accommodated by standing with legs apart. OTL/ fulcrum, BTC— the smaller mass just makes the starter size far easier to manipulate.

I am at 30” now with the bib starter, unthinkable with the vac system.

I am hoping that there will be some more gains eventually.

Question is, how high can you go with the bib (bib starter)?

I have both the Bib and vacuum hangers and prefer the vacuum hanger greatly. If it is properly sized, it is very effective and I can hang up to 20 lbs. with comfort using stronger sleeves. If the size is too big it will likely create too much pressure on the head. But sized correctly it is the most comfortable way to hang in my opinion. I have tried endlessly (seems like) to adjust the Bib correctly and find the whole thing a major challenge.

I disagree completely with those who say that you are only getting skin stretch with a vacuum hanger. When hanging, the tension is distributed throughout the tunica and a simple fulcrum will show that to be the case.

I have nothing against the Bib, but it has been hard to use and adjust and I do not like the thought of pinching the tissues as much as it must do to hold on. I would much rather expand them into a vacuum space than crush them with a vise.

I even had a machinist make a stainless steel version of the vacuum hanger so I can electrify it. If you haven’t tried hanging with pulsing from a wave generator you haven’t lived in my opinion (perhaps overstated, but you get the point). I’ll post on this some time in the future.
