Again: BiB or VaC Hanging

I was very enthusiastic about vac hanging in the past (originally came from the BiB).

Then, I noticed that high weights and vac hanging are dangerous (blisters, frenulum tear) so I went back to the BiB (uncomfortable), tried the BiB junior (uncomfortable, too), switched mach to vac hanging and finally, just recently, started hanging with the original BiB again.

Seems to me that proper wrap and heat are crucial. Going up with the weight well above the vac experience (max 15 pounds). With the original BiB I am now at 30 pounds without injury, just moderate discomfort (admitted).

So I hope that gains will show.

Any input, own experience?

Here is my story about. I used the bib for about a year and had some great gains. But then the whole vac hangers starting getting big. So I of course bought one. I used it for about a yeah I was thinking this was great how long I could wear it without breaks. It was a whole year wasted in my honest opinion. I had more skin stretch that anything. Kinda gross if you ask me to have a bunch of lose skin now :(

With a vac hanger there is now way to grasp the internals like the bib hanger does. So there for most of the stress is on the head and skin. What a joke. I’m now back to the bib hanger for the past 3 months and wish I wouldn’t have ever left. Already see more gains in the 3 months with the bib than I did the whole year with the vac hanger.

Live and learn I guess!

How frequently were you hanging in the past 3 months and at what weights? Do you get any discolorations from the Bib?

I hang 7 days a week with a total of 6 sets a day. 3 in the am and 3 in the pm.

I had gotten up to 12 lbs but I moved up to fast not allowing my soft tissues to adapt to the weight so now I’m right at 6 lbs and moving up to 7 pounds this week. As far a discoloration I do have a little but I’m not really to worried about that.

I have a Vac hanger (and can only hang 2kg max) so I am doing something wrong here..

When you say you made less gains with the Vac than the Bib, could you be slightly more specific?. Especially when you say that after 3 months you have more gains from the Bib than the Vac

I have made a AFB hanger.. And got some great advice from Piet. But I am still having problems- namely the bloody pain! - On a scale of 1 - 10 it’s about a 6 or 7 in the head of my glands, which means I can only hand for minutes few.. Which is not appropriate..

I have spoken to Bib and he has suggested the “Bib starter”

So when you say painful how much, do you mean discomfort or pain.( I know we all have different threshold levels!)

I used the vac hanger for a year straight. I think I might have missed maybe 2-3 days within that year. My total gains at the point were 1/8” Really sucks for all the time I put in. I did how ever gain a lot of skin which is gross.

So being back in the bib hanger for only 3 month I have already gained a little more than 1/8” and my bpfsl is up .25”. I’ve very excited to see what this year brings using the bib hanger. Hopefully it brings 8” LOL

I own a couple of the bib hangers. And I feel as well the bib starter is the best one. Only one I use now.

As for pain I really don’t have pain. There is a little discomfort by tightening down the hanger since it’s graping the internals of your dick not just the skin and head like a vac hanger. But a few minutes into a set it all goes away. :)

The hanger from mynewsize.com. I think they call it the MAX VAC 2. I also had the vac hanger from autoextender.com.

The max vac could handle a lot more weight than the other one.

I was actually deciding between the max vac and bib recently, eventually chose the bib. Cant go wrong with that one.

Did you use only the MaxVac, or split the graces between the two?

It seems that hanger comfort/tolerance varies a lot between different men. Some guys cannot find any way to use clamp-style hangers (e.g., the Bib) comfortably, no matter how they wrap or adjust the settings, while others cannot tolerate even light weights with vacuum hangers.

I personally am able to use both styles of hangers easily and comfortably. The main disadvantage of vacuum hangers, for me, is that my glans can’t handle more than moderate weights, while the main disadvantage of clamp-style hangers, for me, is that they really only “pull” on the penis below the attachment point, rather than stretching the whole thing, as a vacuum hanger does.

I got a vac hanger and a bib starter one year ago.

I started using the bib, but like some others, I had some conditioning and twisting problems, and some numbness.

After two weeks I switched to using the vac hanger, and used it primarily for six months. I kept reading bib’s forums and experimenting with my bib technique.

After six months of primarily vac hanging, to get fatigue, I was starting to need to use weight that was causing glans problems. Even with different taping/wrapping/constriction sleeve methods, my glans were having a rough time with fluid buildup and blisters.

At that time I switched back to my bib. Fortunately I think I had become more conditioned over the six months and my technique and wrapping had improved. I did not have any numbness or twisting issues, and have not had any since.

Two months ago I bought a second bib, this time getting the hardcore starter. It is by far my favorite hanger. I find that I need less compression to get the same grip. It feels more precise and solid than my starter.

So that is my history with hanging. My opinion is that while I found the vac hanger useful, my bib has been, and will be, my main tool for hanging gains.

I liked the vac hanger because it was easy to do, I could hang for long sets (1hr) and I think it improved my EQ. However, after a period of time I felt that I had exhausted the gains I could practically get from vac hanging.

On the other hand, with the bib, I feel like as long as I put the time and work into my hanging, it will help me to continue to slowly but surely pull gains out. This is where I am at now.

I think in the future, once I have reached my length goals, I might go back to some light vac hanging. As Para-Goomba said, you get a stretch throughout the length of the penis, which feels good, and I think this might be good for EQ.

But for now, I will continue doing the hard work with my bib hardcore starter.

Great post. I’m a firm believer that a vac hanger can’t grasp and pull out the length like a clamp style hanger.

Go Bib. I’ve used and wasted my time with a vac hanger.
