I have been planning to create one of these hangers but just read on the website that the Bib hanger only works for people 6+ x 5+ inches. Will my starting size prohibit me from being able to hang effectively?
No it won’t. Bib sells a hanger called a bib starter, which is just a little smaller. In the end you could probably go for a standard bib hanger and wrap more.
The AFB will work for you pretty well and it’s easy to construct:

The AFB doesn’t cost anything much. So you can try both starting with the AFB and moving to the Bib Starter, if it doesn’t work for you.
