Positive Medical Article on Extenders

I’ve been using the Restorex for a little over a month now. I’ve never done any PE prior to using this device.

First, I do like the device, it’s very easy to use and track your progress in how far you are extending. I wear it for 30 minutes at a time and have never had any discomfort whatsoever. I feel a very nice stretch at the base, especially in the curved position that is possible with the device.

In the first month I averaged an hour of extending per day and never missed a day. With the Restorex you can extend straight out or change the angle. I would do half my time extended straight out and the other half extended at a downward angle—sometimes even up to 45 degrees because my penis is curved fairly upwards.

1 month gains:
.275” in BPEL
Significant gains in BPSL although I didn’t take a measurement beforehand (I have one now)

For the past 10 days I’ve averaged an hour and half per day and am aiming to shoot for 2 hours per day. I can provide an update on any progress of using this device if you all would like. I generally measure once every 2-3 weeks.

Hanging issues

Tension alone dont produce results. Even hanging 40 pound you need a minimum time under tension.
Some people succeeded hanging, others with pumps. Both seem to apply higher tension for les time but i think the variability of tension to be applied is full spectrum from 2 pound to 40…

I fear you will have to know your own body and see how it responds.

Mine responded bad to 13-14 pound hanging 4 set a day. Was a massive beating, strong pull, and not few hours a day considering all the setup needed to hang with grip type hangers.
After 3 months i gained 3milimitres and several thrombosed veins, and a semipermanent swell that lasted another 4-6 weeks.

Right after hanging I switched to extender, 600-750 grams for 9 hours a day, also 3 months, 10 milimitre gains, healthier penis.

A couple observations about your hanging protocol that contributed to your less than positive experience and negative side effects.
#1 - Too many sets. You were over training, 2 sets a day is plenty, especially with the amount of weight you were using.
#2 - Using a “grip” type hanger (compression clamp). This type of device is likely why you experienced several thrombosed veins.

The amount of traction you are generating with the extender is a fraction of what you were hanging with!
600 grams = 1.322 lbs.
750 grams = 1.653 lbs.

Cornman34, please do. I’ve just started using the device today and am very interested in learning from your/others experiences with Restorex.

I’ll be keeping detailed records of my usage and plan to post my results after 3/6 months to compare against their claims.

Very interesting. This probably applies a lot of force. But, I’m wondering if it’s possible to apply around the same force with hands for 30 to 60 minutes daily.

Hi Cornman34,

Would it be possible to take the device and push it down onto a set of scales until the lines have disappeared? Then we would know what tension the device uses.

What is your progress?
Also, has your curve changed?

Interesting Data

Penile traction therapy and Peyronie’s disease: a state of art review of the current literature - PMC

I use a homemade extender using an old vacuum pump with a large rubber seal at the base. I cut a circle out of the top and sanded the inside of the edges of the plastic where I cut a 1 inch circle. This is to allow the traction balloon to not be damaged by any edges.
I use a 2 ft white balloon (deflated) to create traction by placing penis inside vacuum tube with balloon condom attached. I pull the top of the balloon out of the top of the vacuum cylinder and create traction this way. I secure with a fat rubber band outside the tube securing the balloon. I fill the tube part way with hot water although if you have leakage from the base you could use heated uncooked rice packs or mini reusable heat packs inside the tube next to penis.. Not too hot. I wear a belt over the tube around my waist. Periodically up traction by resetting balloon. Make sure you are not leaking water and be aware of electrical outlets etc.

Correction

I use white 11 inch latex balloons for traction condoms.

Using light colored balloons from 11 inch to 24 inch (depending on penis width) you can get a snug fit. However, a new balloon has latex dust that can be removed with a dab of water. Roll back the balloon to the end and dab water around the rim. Unroll it and then roll it again and it is ready to be used. Remove periodically to check for blood flow.
