Whats better to have a longer stretch with lower tension or a shorter stretch with more tension?

If anyone is confused I’m talking about an extender.

My personal opinion is that a longer stretch with lower tension is the way to go.

Ok thanks, right now I’ve got the long stretch with about 900-1000 grams and I’ve added a piece of toilet paper to give the base a fulcrum and it looks like it adds like 1/2 inch stetch. My god it hurts so good. Lol

Not sure if I can do this for a full hour but I’ll try. It makes me want to move around constantly.

I think it varies person to person and you should find out what works best for you.

If a longer stretch for a short amount of time causes injury and no gains, that’s not good.

if a short stretch for a long amount of time without injury doesn’t produce gains, that’s also not good.

Experiment, find your sweet spot and go from there.

Thanks X, I might possibly be a moron. I just added 1/2 an inch elongation bar and it fits like a glove. I just measure I was stretching around 6.5 - 6.75 to a little under 7 inches. Now just have to wait to see if I get any pain.
