Hello friends, first forgive my English :$ I am Spanish, recently I share this with the Spanish forum so “today” I share this with all of you, I have been designing and testing a custom ADS for a few weeks, with ideas taken from my own experience and from things I’ve seen around here. Basically, I wanted to make an ADS that would be easy to print for those users who have a 3D printer, nowadays 3d printer are becoming cheaper and cheaper so who knows… maybe some user here are interested! :D . For its design, I put some “pillars”, very simple design and easy to replicate, functional and 100% 3D printed or a viable way to have its version of hardware/similar. Well, too much “talking” haha, I share with you what I have done, also all the 3D models to be printed.

As you can see it is composed of basically four basic pieces, which I define as: Rods, Frame, base and screw.

* Rods: They are long screws with a very long pitch, each complete turn of screw advances approximately 0.66cm, for example three complete turns advance 2 cm, rods plus the base can reach 23cm long.
* Base: It is a very simple and robust, with a form of “donut” in the base to soften the support over the pubis. The inside diameter is 5 cm. The union Varillas - Base is very simple solution, where I propose the following:

-M3x14 screw and M3 nut
-Plastic clamp, those that we use for the computer cables works pretty fine, I was using then until I went to the workshop for bolt and nuts.
-I wanted to print everything, in this case I did not design it because on the internet there a tons and tons of designs, looking at portals like Thingiverse (3D Makers portal), Using as a search key “Press Pin” you will be able to find lots of solutions.

* Nut: They have no mystery, they are nuts with the same step as the rods, push the frame upwards generating tension in the penis.

* Frame: This is a piece that has a lot of potential for improvement, however it is absolutely functional and robust nowdays. Based on ADS 8mm that we know from this forum and then turning those screws around causing tension.

* Clamp: I use one that I bought in a library it’s pretty strong! however using the same philosophy of everything printed in 3d, just go to thingiverse search for “Clip” you will find tons! :D

-> How do I use it? Well, first I put talcum powder making my friend look like a geisha: D, I tie the ADS 8mm and wait a couple of minutes I find out that doing this it works better. I put my friend trough the base and grab the ADS 8mm to the frame with a clamp, fix it well and give it tension until I find the point I want.

Finally comment, I have already used a few hours (30h aprox) getting more tension than the pro ext from the biggest Chinese portal ali ali, however still in tests and accepting criticism and idea, greetings to all.

I would say it´s strong enought for this duty, the one I used it´s PLA (Poly lactic Acid), it´s biodegradable and comes from corn, tapioca, sugar… There are many other plastics with better mechanic proprieties like the ABS. I did a little test with this ADS just hang a 5kg weight in compression (the same effort that exist during its use as ads, assuming that compression axis are the rods) and it was capable to resist. So at least it can reach 5kg :)

Hey there jazz13! :D I did use Autocad is the software I learnt in the degree anyway also know how to work with solidworks but I feel more confident with autocad. Still using it, looks like the first day! so nice!

Your ingenuity knows no bounds. Keep it up, another reason for me to pull out the printer. On the base ring I would round the edges so it does not dig in.

Kudos to you sir for your ingeniuty & creative design.

However, I would warn against using a 3D printer for printing anything that would be under pressure so near to such a critical area of your anatomy. I work in the plastics industry and we use our 3D printer often. I would be very afraid that under pressure, one of the rods could break and cut or puncture your penis. The more tension on the penis during the break, the worse the effects could be. I would also be very cautious of the hoops where the rods attach to the base. If one of those were to break, it could dig right in to the base of the penis and cause a tremendous amount of damage.

In your design, in the areas where the rods connect to the base ring, you have surfaces perpendicular to each other. In these areas, you need to have a fillet or radiused transition between to perpendicular surfaces. Any place you have a sharp corner, you will have stress that will eventually crack or break. A fillet or rounded transition will strengthen that area. This is the reason why large airplanes have windows with rounded corners instead of square corners.

Again, I commend you on your design and ingenuity but please, please please be very careful using this type of plastic under pressure.

It’d be really cool if someone has kept developing this, maybe the files on some hosting stl service, I’d love to try printing one of these
