Weightlifting->PE...Connection??

Hey ive just started PE and its only been about 2 weeks and I just feel like there is more density to buddy. But thats not the point of this post. I have been reading alot of posts and i have noticed a interesting connection. With everything everybody is saying about PE it is almost the exact thing as weightlifting. I’m not sure if anybody has said this before but it similarities are uncanny. If you’ve never been much into weightlifting(im not talking aboutthe no neck ripped bastards, just everyday doing a consitent routine) then probably have no idea what im talking about. I think if somebody took the time and looked into weightlifting for better PE routines,etc then some big improvements could be made in PEing.

In what way? I can’t see the logic behind the suggestion that the principals of weight lifting could help make PE routines any better… :confused:

I can’t produce a scientific cite, but it’s stated frequently on a bodybuilding forum I use that compound movements such as squats & deadlifts stimulate the body to produce growth hormone (might be testosterone).

Ive noticed the similarities as well. For example:

1. Starting out low and moving up. Starting with weight lifting, theres no way you could start out benching, say, 250 lbs. Nor could you start out hanging 15 lbs.

2. Plateus. Lots of guys here have mentioned plateaus and stalls in their growth. In PE the growth is restarted by using a different routine, upping weight, etc. Same with bodybuilding/weighlifting. If the anology were to hold, then perhaps decreasing weigh when a plateu occurrs and then slowly increasing again would help break the stall in PE…this works with lifting anyway.

3. Mentality. Nobody “needs” a 10” penis. But man its a nice thought. Nobody “needs” huge biceps, or a flat belly, but man its a nice thought.

4. Slow and steady wins the race. Neither bodybuilding/weighlifting no PE produces overnight results. The guys here who show results have been here a while, same with the big guys at the gym.

There are similarities, there’s no guestion of that, what I asked was; how can the information gathered from weight lifting help in PE. Now this number 2 was the only one I found intresting in such way.

The problem with shocking your body from homeostasis, related to PE, is that there is no real connection between dick size and the catabolic or anabolic state in body in general. Also, increased testosterone doesn’t grow your dick, unless you have unnaturally small one caused by lack of testosterone, which is highly unlikely. Also, there is no such connection with growth hormone.

There is a growth hormone that is released while doing squats and deadlifts. I’m not sure if it has a connection with the penis, but I doubt it. I’ve been PE’ing for about 3 months, lifting for the past 1 month and havent noticed a huge increase in my growth rate.

I have been speaking with a young friend who is into weight lifting and body building and he tells me his stones get absolutely huge after he finishes his routine. I have never been much of a lifter and have no experience at this growth but I have no reason to doubt him. His response was immediate after I was quizing him on the changes he sees in his body after lifting.

I misunderstood the OP’s question in the 1st place.

I guess the only real practical correlation between bodybuilding & PE would be anticipating plateaus and knowing when to mix things up.

Hormonal effects on PE probably depend on the physiology of tissue growth in response to stress. GH does indeed stimulate protein synthesis, the question at this point is what makes PE work? If the standard line about tearing down muscle fibers & re-building is true, and if something similar happens w/ PE, then hormonal levels might give someone a boost.

Let’s just keep in mind, that penis is not muscle tissue.

This is my first post but I’ve had similar thoughts. Didn’t mention them much since they go against a lot of the established hypothesis. So remember I’m a newbie. Try not to flame me too much.. heh

Like in bodybuilding, you need to feed the body if you expect it to grow back stronger. However, in PE I’ve seen ideas like limiting Vit C and collagen production. I suppose the thought is that if your penis grows back stronger, then it’ll be harder to keep stretching.

From a bodybuilding standpoint… you build the body back stronger and whatever routine you were doing eventually won’t be enough to stress the body. The solution? stress it even more. I don’t see why having the penis grow back stronger is such a bad thing.. just hang more weight. The more the penis can tolerate, the more you add stress to it. Just have to keep the stress just a tad bit more than the body can handle.. Forced adaptation.

Here’s where my ideas really differ… the length vs. girth issue. If your length gains slow down then you hang more weight or pull harder. If your girth gains slow down, then there’s only so much more you can do to stress it harder. Why not aim for girth first when the tissues are weaker. You can always hang heavier weights for length.

All in all, I don’t understand the ideas of trying to keep the penis weak if the goal is to build a bigger stronger tool. In bodybuilding you just need to increase the stress to keep ahead of the increased strength. Vary the routines, angles, weights, etc… Even if the penis isn’t a muscle, the idea of keeping ahead of the adaptation makes sense to me.

But hey I’m really new at this. Just had some rambling thoughts. Get lot’s of thinking done when you’re anchored in place with a BIB hanger. Hopefully my ideas aren’t so far off base that they hinder gains. Got good gains so far though.

I’m short 5’1” about 145 lbs. Used to be 4.5” bpel and don’t know about girth. First measured girth was around 4.5” also. At least now I’m roughly average 6x5 which I’m really happy with. Looks bigger since I’m so short.
7x6 would be awesome for me.

Welcome! Flaming is something that we don’t do here. We might criticize, but we never intentionally put each others down. That’s not productive in any way.

The disclaimer as first of your post was good, because without it, at this point I would’ve asked: “You are new, right?”. ;)

PE, in the end, is hard work. Really hard. Gains slower down as you go forward, you can put in enourmous amounts of work and get next to nothing as result. Making it harder than it already is just isn’t reasonable or necessary.
This “just hang more weight” or “just pull harder” mentality doesn’t really cut it. Don’t you think people already hang as much weight as they can or pull as hard as they can? Why wouldn’t they?

There are limits to what your dick can handle. Even if your ligs could handle 40 kg load, I doubt your dick could.

Good gains, by the way! :up: How long did it take for you to gain that 1.5”?

Testosterone will only cause penis growth during puberty. After that, the only thing that will make it “grow” is PE.
