Tricks And Tips For Manual Stretching

As the title says, I’m going to post some tips that could improve both simple and advanced stretching for a few members, with also some explanations on stretching that even intermediate PEers could have missed.
The main topics will be:
Stretching the penis with a v-grip

  • V Grip
  • Reverse V grip
  • Fulcrum stretches
  • Golden Rules for manual stretching

Other topics will be added over time, with the help of other members that I think will not lack.

The V Grip

The first tip will be about the grip. The regular grip has two problems: a) it will fatigue fast your wrist; b) it will put too much stress on your frenulum.

Time ago Tom Hubbard posted about the knuckle grip, finding it more comfortable than the regular grip. I found the inverted knuckle grip even more useful; I think calling it the V grip will be more close to how it look like. It is way less fatiguing and safer than the regular grip.

It is very simple: put your open hand in front of you (pic. 1); then rotate your hand 90 degrees toward the floor (pic. 2); rotate clockwise if it is your left hand, anti-clockwise if it is your right hand. Now place your glans between your middle and index finger (pic 3); imagine the belt for trousers in the pic is your penis and the buckle (clip?) is your glans.

Now bend your fingers, forming a hook around the sides of the glans; the tips of your fingers should touch (pic 4; it sounds more complex than it is really, just try it and you’ll get by yourself).

Finally, to add more comfort, you can close your not gripping hand around the gripping one, so you can tighten the grip without stressing too much the wrist. (pic 4)

I found this grip made possible to do upward regular stretches without much effort, something I always found impossible with the regular grip.

I use something like that and with piece of latex glove I can do inverted V’s for 3-5mins straight.

Fulcrum Stretches

I got a good number of questions about fulcrum stretches. With a bit of experimenting, you’ll find by yourself what’s the best way to do them; to save you some time anyway I’ll give you a few tips. The first thing, is that the fulcrum should be thick and smooth. The best fulcrum is a glass bottle or a metallic pipe; in pic F1 you can see what I would use for fulcrum stretches, a 5” diameter big bottle for upward side stretches, a slightly smaller bottle for downward fulcrum stretches; the ideal fulcrum should have a diameter about your NBPEL/3 for downward stretches, NBPEL/2 for upward side stretches.

In F2 you can see how downward fulcrum stretches are perfomed; notice the position of the body and arms, I’ll return on this pic in another post to illustrate another point.

Down ward fulcrum stretches, with your penis flat over the fulcrum, are good for lenght and girth IMO. If you really want to target length, the best way IMO are upward side fulcrum stretches; this means that the side of your penis is relying on the fulcrum; otherwise said, once you have grabbed your penis, rotate your hand 180 degrees toward the floor. I hope in pics F3 and F4 you can get what I mean. This way, the surface of your penis relying on the fulcrum will be smaller and consequently the force fighting the stretching tension will be smaller as well.

I found a piece of cotton works the best. I have not used that in the pics because they would have been even less clear.

Baby powder is also useful to avoid the slipping and to avoid that small abrasions gets infected, thanks to the zinc contained in it.

Something I noticed long ago, and have mentioned before, yet is proving more useful to me now that I’ve been manually stretching instead of hanging, is a having a hot/warm shower immediately before a stretching session greatly enhances grip.

Try for yourself with and without. You’ll see the difference.

You may still eventually reach for some gripping aids such as soft paper towels, tissue paper, or whatever, but overall everything holds/sticks much better right after a hot shower or bath.

Skin tackiness of both hands and shaft skin works best when well hydrated after a soak.

You’re right- piece of cotton works fine, but glove don’t scrub the skin of penis. Maybe I’ve got some shitty socks…

That could be an article or something underlined to most of PE’ers.

Nobody knew what my term “knuckle grip” meant anyway (and that was mainly a show-off photo after doing the Miracle 7 exercises a few months;-), so good call marinera. Inverted (someone else’s idea) knuckle grip = V grip. Done.

1) Here’s a very simple way to make it VERY powerful without toys: use the heel of your other hand to push down on the top of the shaft while also using it as a lever to pull up with the V-grip. I’ve attached a line drawing that I hope is allowable, in case my description makes no sense. (Based on recent before-and-after measurements after reading a thread here, and looking for maximum immediate gain, I do only 1-second stretches now.)

2) Though no fan of heat (if only because it’s never been convenient for me), after epic (to the point of soreness) early AM stretching sessions (before wife is awake), I like to “apply energy” to the sore area—ligs, shaft—for several minutes, by placing the palm of my right hand over that area. Anyone familiar with energy work will know what I refer to; anyone else will probably think I’m nuts. Thoughts?

You lost me on point 2 Tom. Are you saying you just use your own body heat after stretching.

Also, I find the best way to get a good grip is to engorge the glans a bit: Kegel and - pinch-pull a couple times

I’ve the same problem as yours on stretching my penis upward. It’s clear to my mind right now.

By the way I need some explanations on pics 4. Especially with this:
