A deconditioning break would be a good idea. Try taking a full month off; if you are not making any gains now a month off is no problem. Then start your training again very slowly with something like the newbie routine to get maximum results from minimum work.

Easy gainers may get results without a proper warm-up, but I think it makes a big difference to hard gainers.

Here’s a question for the seasoned veterans: How difficult is it for you to take time off from PE? As a newbie, I’m on a 5 on 2 off schedule and I hate to take those two days off, but I realize this is part of the process.

I don’t tend to plan time off; life circumstances dictate that sometimes there are more important (yes, really) things to do than PE. It’s a life-long thing for me, even if just for maintaining penile health, so I don’t worry if I take time off.

Time off is essential once in a while; if you can do it when your gains stop for a while, that is the best time.

Newbies always find it hard to take time off, and for the first three months it’s important to develop consistency in your routine, while accepting that you have to have rest days.

Try to increase the weight, Bib said he got most of his gains with about 18 pounds

Does 2.375” count for Jelqing and stretching in a 18 month period, and hanging with extreme heavy weights. ;)

Long Term Goal: BPEL 9.000"x EG 6.500" Dusty

Rest days are really hard, but I think I’m doing enough work on my penis. Next thing I’ll try is taking a break and build a better hanger so I can move up in weight later too. I was a bit discouraged last time I posted. The most optimistic measurement I took was +0.2 NBPEL.

I made most of my gains, hanging between 17.5 and 20 lbs. I stayed in that range for a long time. When the fatigue ended at 20, I went to 22.5 and so on, up to 45 lbs at the end. Safe to say, the gains I made after the 17,5-20 lb range were tougher, slower. I also made gains at under 17.5, but I moved up in weight, between 7.5 lbs and 17.5 lbs rather quickly. Say within six months.
