Do you think the steroids contributed in some way?

I take steroids, I dont reccommend them to anyone w/o proper knowledge and a doc who will do blood/liver tests for you to make sure your not doing any damage to your body, and no, in my opinion I have had the same gains off and on. There are also other risks you have to take and watch out for. Do not take them and think your dick will grow.

This is probably true. After all, that last 1” would have to be a massive amount of work.
And, if you start in the average range most guys would either be satisfied with 2” or have given up by then.

Let me tell you the secret that has led me to my goal: my strength lies solely in my tenacity.

Simple statistics would suggest that, as the forum grows in membership, the number of 3 inch gainers would increase roughly proportionally. Instead, the number has gone down—in fact, nearly to zero.

That is truth and I see it this way…’old’ guys were those who came to gains with their own hard work. They did not have any forums like this one. To find their ‘own way’ they had to ‘fight’ each day and keep with what worked for them on and on. Only the strongest could survive in this ‘virgin land’. They were ‘dedicated’ and motivated-they were not there ‘by accident’ like many are these days….Now it is different…we have many forums and hundreds of ‘PE techniques’. In my opinion such large amount of ‘techniques’ and ‘ideas’ makes things worse for many of PErs…They jump from one technique and idea to another putting no heart and time in any of them…large amount of PE info may work like ‘noise’ where it is hard to spot out things that are really valuable.

This is really just my subjective opinion, but I think diminishing returns really kick in once a guy goes past 7 inches or so BPEL. One’s bulge tends to reveal itself inappropriately. Oral and anal sex become a problem (assuming girth grows proportionally). For me, 7.5” BPEL is where I really started to question whether I wanted any more.

The answer is, sometimes I do and sometimes I don’t. I want it when I’m with a woman or trying to impress one; I don’t want it when I’m hanging out with other guys or feel like being my usual, wacky self. I’m intimidating enough. I don’t want to be moreso. It spoils the fun of being with people.

Enter your measurements in the PE Database.

There are always exception to the rule but as a general rule of thumb I think that most people wont go beyond 33% over their starting size.

There is a law of diminishing returns at play and the later gains get harder and harder as you continue to PE.

I’ve never thought about a percentage before, but that feels about right.

OK-but how do you know then were is the ‘starting point’ to which that 33% should be added? Is it size of your dick when you are 19Y?25Y?40Y? Penis like other parts of the body tend to change size as we grow old(in both directions). For instance it is well known fact that our ears become ‘bigger’ as we grow old…Old people almost always have ‘big’ ears(bigger than younger people). I consider such statements -as yours supersizet-dangerous as they can be ‘self limiting’ believes. In my opinion there is only one factor that can limit growth-it is tendency of our tissues to adopt to the stress. In order to gain all the time we would have to use each time stronger force than before. Ultimately it could lead to very dangerous injury…but if we play wise with ‘decon’ breaks gains can go further….slower than before but still further.

Valid points about the age disi. I tend to agree that one will respond differently to PE at different ages because the body will have varying capacity to adapt to the stress as you age. None the less the 33% figure is simply an approximation derived from tallying stats of all members that participated in various polls and surveys here on Thunders over the years. I even did one myself a few years back. Ive also seen excel spreadsheet breakdowns from others over my 4 years here. i.e. Its not a number off the top of my head (if thats what you are thinking) though my mathematical intuition and knowledge about PE alone tells me that its pretty much in the ball park and not far from the actual truth (which we will never really know) Remember that it’s only a generalization and not a limiting factor for everyone…you may be the exception as others have been in the past.

I’m a member of the two inch club, but there are 2 main reasons why I most likely will not be a member of the ‘three inch club.’

1) The effort and time I need to put into hanging will be insane (due to the law of diminishing returns). I’m not sure if I can commit to that at this time, or if I can even gain anything more from hanging.

2) The bigger I have gotten, the less I feel I ‘need’ additional size. Honestly, I started here being insecure about what I had in terms of length. Now, at nearly 8” bpel, there isn’t the burning desire to ‘need’ to increase my length because I am very secure with what I have. In fact..I’m proud! Sure….I would love to be 9 or even 10”, but I guess I’m too content with my current size to put in the required effort to reach those outlandish sizes.

Then again…I might try hanging again, but this time using ADS. But if nothing happens, I’ll just continue with girth.

Cheers.

That is interesting. Do you think it may be this way due to the fact that people are ‘aware’ that 1-2” gains are majority and subconsciously take it as ‘upper limit’? I have heard once about study made by some psychologists. There is a road in US(I do not remember now details-maybe it was ‘66’)) which is very long. On both sides of that road there is lot of empty space(no buildings, mountains etc). There are also ‘pillars’(those which deliver electricity-sorry for my English) on both sides of the road far from each other. It has been noticed that a lot of accidents take place on that road-people simply get off the road. What was interesting in it is that majority of people did crash on those pillars despite the fact that there was empty space between them….they did not go to the empty space but right to those pillars :) Conclusion was following - when people get off the road sliding around they subconsciously seek for a ‘solid point’ which they can ‘hold on to’ and they unconsciously steer their cars right on those pillars. I thought it may be interesting :)

Thanks disi, I’ll be more than happy with 1-2”…..I’m going to start smacking my dick into a pillar tonight.

There is probably some psychological component to accelerating or decelerating growth. Mental visualization is a technique that is used by bodybuilders for that extra edge. The mind is a pretty potent thing.

Roger Bannister was the the first man to break the four minute mile. Not too long before that medical doctors were claiming that it was physically impossible for a human to run that fast. Funny how after he broke the mark…someone else beat his mark 46 days later and then a few others broke the mark either that year or the next. A decade or so later it seemed like everybody was breaking the mark and a kid name Jim Ryan was the first High School kid to break the mark.

If you think you can…you at least have a decent shot from a mental perspective. (A variation of that thinking is in my signature) On the other hand …if you don’t think you can, then how the hell will do it when you already defeated yourself before you even started.
