Having read and read and read through these forums I am still at a loss as to how to find out what my LOT is. I understand what LOT is and means, but how do I find it?

Sorry to be a nuisance guys, but my head is spinning from all the reading!

The LOT Theory refers to the tightness of the ligs and their potential for stretching. LOT is the Loss Of Tugback angle. It’s performed in a flaccid stretch state. To find out more, do a search for “LOT AND Theory” and also read the LOT Theory thread at the top of the main member forum.

For a more visual understanding, check out the diagrams in these posts by SS4Jelq and helluvastud.

In layman’s terms, this is pretty much how I gather it works.

While flacid start with Jr at a 12 o’clock angle, pretty much running along the body in upward angle. Do a kegle and see if there is a visual tug back, if so then go down to 11 o’clock and repeat. Continue going in downward angle until you don’t see any tugback. My tugback is somewhere around 10 o’clock(slightly towards 9 o’clock).

Anyway, that is how you get your LoT. If you have a really low LoT like 7 o’clock then you might get more benefit from working on Tunica than the ligs. If I’m wrong, someone correct me.
