I tested my tape and its accurate. I always measure from my circumcision scar and I fluctuate from 5-5.15 natural to 5.25-5.5 when clamped but none of this remains permanent.

Personally, I think you’re doing too much. With length, it’s the opposite: “More is more.” But with girth, “LESS is more.” Girth work is just naturally more intense than length (you’re trying to enlarge the tissues via internally-invoked stressors; with length, externally-invoked stressors). Too much girth work just traumatizes the tissues.

Ditto the above. That “increase” of 0.15” that you thought you had was just swelling, inflammation - from the trauma.


I havent been using heat during my warmups but not sure how much of a difference that would make. Ive always jelqed even when pumping and have never gained girth so Im not sure jelqing with a few squeezes here and there will help me much.

I see great expansion from clamping but nothing permanent. It seems impossible for me to gain girth.

I appreciate the tips and input.

How long have you been clamping for as in days months?

How many sets did you do per sessions.

You will get nothing from clamping and pumping if your not consistent for long periods of time.

Try at least 4 - 6 months of clamping before you give up!

Ive never been real consistent with clamping as I have with pumping. My pumping routine produced good length gains but no girth.

When I clamp, I do 3 sets ranging from 5-10 minutes per set with jelqs in between.

My lack of persistence is probably why I havent gained much girth but many gain girth from pumping and jelqing alone…guess Im not as fortunate.

You will always have fluctuation in size measurements and it is nothing to get excited about. It has nothing to do with diet or routines, it is simply the natural physiological responses of the male erection. Depending on any number of things your erection maybe larger or smaller incrementally due to different states of the body. Relaxation, blood flow, temperature, body position, mood factors and flaccid conditions that may or may not be as receptive to optimal blood aspects influencing size. It is best not to measure as much since you will have unevenness in your progress, it is not a straight-line increase.

There is a lot to what Lonelysurfer says. There are so many factors involved in how girthy your erection is. I for example seem to be fluctuating between 5 and 5 1/16 MSEG nowadays. Maybe a little bigger on a real good day.

Plus I find girth just really tricky to measure. Easy to get the tape too tight (compressing your girth smaller) or too loose (giving a larger reading).

MSEG is a little easier — but I have no idea what my base girth is right now — the best I can say is it is between 5.5 and 5.75.

Personally, I am really taking what wad says to heart. If I think about the times when I gain girth, it was when I follow those principles.

Twice a day, nooooooo! Girth work should only be done twice a week. With a 48-72 hour rest period between. The exercises are goo though you just need to cut back. Also girth can be shrunk by consuming to much caffeine.

I wouldn’t state this as fact. I do girth multiple times a day and don’t take ANY rest (maybe once a week or every two weeks). Different things work for different people.

About the original question… I’ve had that happen and it’s annoying as hell. If that happens it’s probably time to take a rest day. I’ve had girth increase on a rest day when that happened.

It’s a great way to increase your metabalism and not lose muscle. Jogging is really pointless and actually burns muscle, which you need to eat up calories. Sprints are where it’s at. You can burn way more calories, way quicker.

I think green tea actually has caffeine in it too.

This has been true in my experience, most accelerants (caffeine, methamphetamines, etc. do this to me also. However, it only seems to matter if I’m on the accelerant during the workout. Otherwise, I can take them afterward or workout after they wear off - no effect on real gains =).

I’ll co-sign #4 in post #15 above.

I only did it for a short period of time, but I could tell it was going to be the way to go for me when I eventually switch to targeting girth.

It is not beneficial, in my opinion, to use the term “workout.” It depends what you are doing, how intense it is, how frequent per day and per days (week). There is no rule on this and whoever declares one would be fooling himself - everyone’s recovery time is different and dependent not only on their own genetics but also on their nutrition, sleep, etc. Given that, I work more than once per day usually.

Yes me above, lol. I haven’t gained a ton of girth, but I have gained some doing workouts with no rest and multiple times a day.
