Hey guys,

I’m back from a long break from PE. The reason for the break was lack of gains after months of hanging and ADS, it was disheartening and felt like it just wasn’t going to happen. Recently I thought of the forum and came back on and read a few good success stories which has me motivated again. Just had a slight injury with an ADS but thats nearly healed now so back to the plan.

I seem to have the same reocurring issue when trying to gain length, its the same with hanging and ADS. I do it for a few weeks and it appears I have gain a CM or so in legnth, then one night I go to bed, wake up and struggle getting it in the ADS as its now smaller. I not only loose that CM I thought I had gained I loose more like an INCH. So it’s shorter than before the weeks of hanging and stretching. Not only that it feels tougher and harder to stretch.

I don’t know the science behind it but I can only guess its the body fighting back, the body isn’t liking it and is it trying to shorten, toughen and keep it at its origional length.

Has anybody experienced this before? any ideas if its too much PE, not enough, not enough heat, or is it just normal and you need to be persistant with it? If I am missing something nows a good time to learn before I get back into it.

Hey Titleist, my memory isn’t that great, and we are talking many years ago. I first started in 2010 when I found thunders place. I know I have tried pretty much everything, from Kegels, manual stretching, jelqing, clamping, hanging, pumping, ADS. My newbie gains were 0.5” length, and 0.5” girth. I got the length first from manual stretches and hanging, and the girth from clamping and jelqing. After the noobie gains I decided I only needed more length, and only ever did manual stretches, hanging, pumping while packing the tube and ADS. I think once I got the extra thickness it made it harder to get the length. Sorry I can’t be clearer on the question, I struggle remembering what I did last week never mind years ago. I think before I gave up it was well conditioned.

In between that every year or two I keep trying again with manual stretches, hanging, ADS, pumping with a packed tube. It’s like after a PE break your penis is soft and stretchy, just say its 7” whilst stretched out. After a few weeks of PE you gain a little length, and then your body reacts and pulls it back in while toughening it, so then its 6.5” stretched out. I can’t think of a better way of explaining it. After that point it’s kind of fixed at that and refuses to budge, then weeks of rest will put it back to the soft stretchy 7” and your back at square one.

Okay my friend I will, do you think what was happening was down to lack of conditioning? I followed the newbie routing in the begining, but switched to more advanced things do to not getting any reults. I will have another go at it though I have nothing to lose.

Syler, everytime you take a long decon break you need to recondition your penis before starting more challenging type PE exercises. The newbie exercise is a very good way to do this. It wasn’t clear to me from your description if this is what you were doing.


Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

Ahh that makes sence. I usually try something for a couple of months, and if it doesn’t work, try something different for a couple of months. And after trying servel things give up for a year or two. The newbie routine was the first thing I ever tried, as I didn’t get any results I wrote it off. As well as this I really don’t want any more girth so try to stay away from jelqinig.

I will do the newbie routine for a few months and then can try moving back to the ADS, I have a feeling I will be coming back asking the same question after haha.

I still would like to know if any one has experienced the penis getting shorter after ADS or hainging. Still don’t know if its a sign its working and your going in the right direction, or if its the body reacting to overtraining and you need to do a bit less or take a day or two break.

Hello Syler. When you are doing your exercises, are you using a lot of traction/weight ? Many guys report that when they are doing « heavy work», their penis turtles and toughens up. Other guys says that light weight/traction is the way to go ( 1200 grams/2,5 pounds or less) for longer sets or a sum of sets, giving more hours per day, and a schedule of ( examples) 2 on/1 off, or 3 on/1 off or 5 on/2 off. Hey norwegian wood, thank you that is really helpful information. It was a good few years ago when I last did the hanging, as I didn’t have much time to do it due to work and not being at home the weight was on the high side. Altough I didn’t get pain or injurys I always got the turtle a few weeks in and progress just halted.

Luckyly I work from home now and do have the freedom to hang or ADS longer with much lighter weight and tension. It’s good to know people have had the same issue and have got past it by dropping the weight. I think the mistake before was more weight when it turtled, which made my dick as hard as nails.

I think I have a plan now, newbie routine until its conditioned. Then ADS on a very low tension for a longer period of time, and if the ninja turtle comes back take a day off and try again with a lower tension.

I will get to 8” one day :)

Typically turtling means you have over worked your penis and you need to take a rest day then start back with a reduced program.

Thank you 32quarters, I will change my ways and will hopefully make some progress this time around :)
