I’m in the middle of a 2 month decon break. Prior to this I was hanging (10lb) and doing a fair bit of clamping - sometimes rather intensively - as well as a lot of manual stretching etc.

I’ve noticed that the shaft of my dick seems to have a loss of sensitivity. I’m sure it’s not a figment of my imagination as I can grab the skin (not the ‘meat’) and pinch it extremely hard and feel basically not too much. No problem with the glans it’s just the shaft. I don’t think it was like this before but sometimes we take these things for granted.

So I’m trying to isolate what would cause this and whether my clamping efforts have been too severe.

Interested to hear if others have trod a similar path.

Not had that problem myself…:-k What do you mean by ‘intensive’? How long are your clamp sessions? Single or double clamping? As with all things PE if it’s bugging you that much then ease back.

It may be that since you began clamping you’re only now realising the skin sensations or lack thereof along the shaft.

I’m almost positive clamping has made my dick more sensitive, I didn’t have much of a problem with cumming to fast until I started clamping. Of course, I’ve remedied my over sensitivity by scrubbing at my erect dickhead with a toothbrush.

Oh I use a single clamp and once 100% hard, I keep it that way sometimes 10 - 5 mins, sometimes for 30 mins or so and I may do 4 or 5 sets of these. I’m edging all the time through this.

And yes, maybe the skin sensations there aren’t as great as I think / thought and if so, do others have much sensation on their shafts?

I also hang with a homemade hanger and I’m also wondering if perhaps this isn’t up to scratch so I’m looking into getting a Vacuum Hanger.

Now as for this toothbrush thingy …..??????

Sounds like you’re overdoing it to me.. Anything over 15 minutes and you’re asking for trouble IMO. Stick to 3-4 sets of 10 minutes if you can, anything more will be too exhaustive and possibly dangerous re oxygen starvation.

The thing about PE is that when you get into it you discover things about your penis you never considered before. Can’t say I really took much notice of shaft sensitivity before PE, I find I can pinch my shaft skin with little reaction, remember it’s designed to ride over the meat of the shaft when having sex/masturbating so has to be pretty free and easy to pull/push around.

Make sure you keep clamping and hanging separate from each other - perhaps on different days as a combination of the two in one sitting may well render it knackered..

Oh and the toothbrush thing is a little light Pap humour…I hope.. :p

Since more than two years I am only around for the fun of hanging around in Thundervilles parks and bars without maintaining a real PE regime anymore. Before there were episodes in which I followed a quite strict regime of jelqing, manual stretching and finally heavy manual clamping (what’s the correct expression for trapping blood with a O-grip at the base, keeping or even increasing pressure by tightening the grip over a period of about a minute, repeating this several times?). However, the results of clamping are fantastic regarding the visual result after a session. The size and the heaviness of my rod was so fascinating that I couldn’t keep from jerking it ‘til it spew the jizz. But, and everybody who’s clamping should just be frank about this, the tingling of the very high pressure in the various chambers is very intense, almost like a stinging pain IMO. And the sensitivity of such a tortured fat snake for sure was significantly decreased afterwards. The feeling while having sex improved a lot after getting sloppy with my PE regime and today I can say that I was never ever confronted with a limp dick, which was the case during the more intense PE times.

Getting a bigger dick is an attractive goal for most of us, but there are things which need to be sacrificed to hunt for that goal. A heavy duty PE dick will get used to the very rude, brutal handling while PEing, no longer able to catch the full spectrum of sensation usually produced by sexual stimulation during these times. At least this is my personal experience. Sorry ;)

drilla9 … yes you’re probably right about the overworking thing. One does tend to get a little ambitious sometimes. So maybe everyone has this feeling on their shaft skin? Yes, with PE one tends to notice things one didn’t pay particular attention to in the past so maybe it’s always been like that (?). And I, quite often, have done clamping and hanging together. Always wondered whether it was detrimental to my overall progress. On my “comeback” I will probably try to separate them methinks.

Oh and Drilla….commiserations for the impending loss of the Ashes hahahaha.

If you notice a loss in sensitivity from within the shaft, you may have damaged a nerve. How does that area respond to fine touch (brazing over it/lightly poking it with a toothpick), and how does it respond to increases in hot/cold? Does this loss of sensitivity feel localized? maybe where you attach the clamp/hanger? You might want to let everything rest for a bit if there is infact nerve damage.

I hang and clamp. I have not noticed a lost in sensation in my shaft. Sex just keeps getter more intense and I attribute that to PE. I have been able to have sex much longer (45 minutes vs 20 minutes) before I orgasm. I attribute this more to control than to loss of sensitivity. Maybe this is what you have experienced. I can squeeze my shaft skin and it does not hurt. If I pinch it tightly it does hurt.

My clamping sets are between 8 and 10 minutes with a 5 to 10 minute break in between. I wear a HTW and use a cable clamp behind the balls. I then wrap with Ace bandage and put a cable clamp at the base. I use two rice socks for heat. I kegel and press on my BS muscle. I have developed my BS muscle significantly from this. This has contributed to my base girth.

My hanging sets are between 10 and 20 minutes with a 10 to 15 minute break in between.

And sheLovesIt what sort of gains have you had? Are you hanging and clamping in the same session?

Going for a longer period of time is no problem for me…maybe it’s an age thing (?).
