I’m a long-time user. My mix is more complex, adding in vitamins beneficial for skin repair, moisturizers, and more recently PABA. I highly recommend to never use DMSO at a concentration higher than 70%. Fill up the rest with distilled water, ideally bacteriostatic water. Benefits: I have zero discoloration from clamping, tunica is slowly softening from PABA (don’t expect wonders, it’s a slow process); applying DMSO after an intense workout, I can see the skin brighten up almost instantly. Oh, and btw. The purer the DMSO the better. Mine is 99.8%, but it has to be that pure, as I use it for peptide storage, too.

I’m opting to try the 4oz gel that see on amazon. Will diluting to lower than 70% reduce the likelihood of the burning and/or itching commonly experienced by users?
