Hey guys, I’m kind of perplexed. I am at about 6” nbp, but when I bone press I’m at 7 inches. Is it normal to have a fat bad this thick and not be fat? Someone please help me out.

And it may not even be fat. I have a similar difference between BP and NBP, yet when I use a caliper to measure the fat thickness (skin fold) there, it measures under 15mm directly above the penis. To the sides it measures about 22mm, but still that isn’t close to enough to account for the missing 1”.

How exactly do you measure: sitting or standing, pushing the ruler on to the pubic bone, or right down along the top of the shaft so that the ruler presses almost under the pubic bone?

These things could acount for the extra size you’re getting when you measure BP.

It is interesting isn’t it? I’ve noticed the same thing.

Obviously there is something there, some kind of tissue that’s probably fat….I guess we should all go spend a few grand to get it cleaned out by a cosmetic surgeon.

Or maybe I should should just stop eating so much damn pizza and do more PE. :)

The fat I do have there accounts for about 1/4” of the thickness. I have no idea what’s below that layer, but it doesn’t feel anything like subcutaneous fat.

If I measure standing, I can get a BP (mildly pressed) length of 7 7/8” whether the ruler is flat against the top, or perpendicular. It’s hard to say what my NBP length is due to the way the penis exits the body plus the upward curve. I’d say NBP 7”, but 7.5” is easily usable with the right position.

I’ve tracked my progress measuring seated, and it results with an additional 1/4”.

I measure right along thew top, and push in, and I do it sitting. I also have a strong curve upwards, and my penis also exits my body upwards, so measuring for me is difficult. Am I doing this right?

My fat pad is about 1/2 inch. What is the average I wonder?

As long as you’re being consistent, it’s correct enough, since the main reason for doing BPEL is to compare to yourself and not others.

I do straighten my curve against the ruler when measuring. And the upwards exit from the body is what makes getting a NBP measurment difficult for me. Maybe I should just measure from the bottom! :p

I’m exactly the same as Darth and I’m not fat. 6” nbp 7”bp . Thats sitting or standing. I appear longer laying down, so that may be a better way to measure nbp.
