What causes penis size gains

I did a little experiment while hanging light weights (up to 2.7kg).

I measured the elongation at various weights under unheated and heated conditions.

I intend to correct some mistakes I made, repeat the measurements and re-submit the results in a better way in a new thread, at a later date.

If anybody is interested the original results are here

So what makes the tunica bigger? Stretching or jelqing?

Yeah, that’s not salvo’s first post. But we’ve found the all mighty here - makes me skeptical that he hasn’t come up with the holy grail to PE yet. But, perhaps that is soon to come.

Anyways, here are my 2 cents to burningfire’s question.

I think that it is all about getting maximum expansion both in girth and stretch during your routine, like some of the guys have stated.

Just to point out a few things, and guys, correct me if I got something wrong, here.

Your tunica and ligs have two properties. An elastic and a plastic state. So when you stretch or do girth workouts and stay within the elastic expansion area, then, everything returns to normal and nothing happens. You might as well have saved your time and done something else.

So in order to permanently stretch your tunica and ligs you need to reach the area where plastic deformation takes place. And, since our penis is one of the toughest parts of the body. Your really need to work hard !!!!!

In a nutshell (Important: only, if your penis is conditioned well enough!!!!!!!!):
- Stretch has hard as you can
- Squeeze has hard as you can

But don’t overdo it.

Sorry for the dobble posting. Didn’t see that he replied while I was writing my text.

Both works on tunica.

Stretch upwards for maximum tunica stretch. Stretch to the floor to work your ligs. And do some jelqs, it helps with both girth and length.

Just start a newbie routine and follow it for a few weeks or months

That’s pretty much it. Wrt heat, it’s not going to magically add potential that wasn’t there before, but it will assist in gaining it more comfortably and with less damage. To quote:

Tissues heated to 45°C and then stretched exhibit a non-elastic residual elongation of about 0.5-0.9% that persists after the stretch is removed which does not occur in these same tissues when stretched at normal tissue temperatures. Thus 20 stretching sessions can produce a 10-18% increase in length in tissues so heated and stretched. This effect would be especially valuable in working with ligaments, joint capsules, tendons, fasciae, and synovium that have become scarred, thickened or contracted. Such stretching at 45°C caused much less weakening in stretched tissues for a given elongation that a similar elongation produced at normal tissue temperatures. OK, do not manual stretch as hard as you can. You will injure yourself.

Shiver,

I’ve read that article a few weeks ago and some of the threads here on heating and all of that (by the way, these were excellent threads !).

It sounds easy to heat up the tissue to 40-45° but in practice I have no fuckin’ idea how I can even get close to those temperatures.

I take hot baths and use a red infrared light. But I have the feeling that only my skin heats up but not anything inside my penis.

Have you got any insights, recommendations, advice on that ???

Infrared penetrates much better than contact heating since it is radiant heat rather than conductive. That said IR is a fairly wide band, and some frequencies work better than others. The way I did it isn’t the cheapest, but it is extremely effective. I bought a thermotex heat pad assembly and removed the heating elements and created a tube out of them, while relocating the thermostat units to keep the temperature in range. I’ve posted how I did this elsewhere and ask that you search it out since I’m having trouble typing at the moment due to a broken collar bone (one handed).

The above quote sounds very encouraging, and it really does work, but one limitation that it completely ignores that is very significant with such a short and wide tissue area as the tunica (compared to say a full leg tendon), is that extensibility can only go so far with existing tissues, and that eventually you will have to wait for remodelling before progress can be resumed. I’d suggest the 0.5% gain is achievable as a best case, and then only for the first 10 days or so. I do this every 2-3 months and don’t sweat it with the each day exercises, but experiment and see what works for you. Personally I would always advise taking a couple of months out when gains stall, the the temptation is always there to up the intensity, which is a different protocol altogether, so be careful not to pollute whichever strategy you choose, as otherwise you’ll have a hard time making sense of the feedback.

The feeling of heat in the correct range is at worst a ‘buzzing’ feeling in the area, and never pain. If the pads make contact with the skin then it may be uncomfortable since they themselves absorb some heat, so it’s best to make a design where there is no skin contact. I have mine suspended through the middle of the tube with a homebrew stretching device with about 1/2” air gap all around. Very little tension is used in the heating stage, then I just remove and do manual stretching for a few mins.

Excuse me, are you sure about this? It is counter to what little I know about these wavelengths - in my experience it does not penetrate the thinnest textile.

Ah, the dangers of forceful jelquing.

regards,

I depends on the material being heated. Some materials block IR (eg. most acrylics). Generally in sports therapy it is accepted that it can penetrate up to 40mm.

The injury was snowboard related rather than PE :)

Yes, as I stated before heat does assist with making the routine more pleasurable, manageable, and decreases risk of injury.

RTG, do you use heat as part of your routines? I’ve noticed a common factor among a lot of the good gainers is they made plenty of use of heat.

I think I may have made a mistake in not using it for the first year I PE’ed.
Anyway I’ll find out in month or two.

What causes penis size gains: Among the other things already mentioned, I would add:

1. Plastic deformation of connective tissues resulting from high traction forces;

2. Actual growth of tissue in response to traction force in the direction of applied force (distraction histogenesis).
