Hey team I’ve just signed up after a long time lurking.

I’ve tried to begin PE several times but have always had the same problem: my EQ is normally great but becomes dismal after even the shortest session (e.g. 5 mins wrap, 20 jelqs, 5 mins wrap, 20 kegels)
And I have to rest for up to a full week before EQ returns to normal.

I’m definitely not using excessive pressure for jelqing (from considerable research) - this is crazy, what can I do to get underway? Do I push through diminished EQ initially?

I would honestly avoid doing the jelqs then, Jelqing would always cause my dick to be really fat and hang excellently but I would turtle quickly after and hour or so and the next few days it would stay smaller. I would usually only do 20 jelqs as well. With my current actions it stays nice and fat for most of the day and changes in length I believe due to the cold, but it never shrinks to the small size like jelqing has caused. Due to my discoveries I just stick to stretching/ warming/ kegeling my EQ is better and my flaccid hangs much better both in length and thickness.

However I believe this to be just that starting in PE is the hardest thing because you do not want to shock your dick in the beginning. The smoothest start I.e. No weeks off, no injuries, no loss in EQ, and no possible things happening that show PE not winning the fight, Is often the most important. I believe most would agree with that. So I have kept to just stretching as much as possible and getting good blood flow so that he is healthy before I start to jelq. I would suggest reading if you haven’t the Linear Newbie Routine.

Soon though I will re add jelqing in hopes that it only cause increased fatness and length during flaccid hang and that the following day I see hardly any massive shrinkage/ turtling

I still have that problem with jelqing. I’ve never been able to do more than 40 jelqs. My dick feels fried.

I like the second poster’s routine of warming up, stretching and kegeling as an alternative. That seems sound advice to me.

You are right to pay attention to your penis’s fatigue. You may have to PE with more days off than most too once you find a suitable routine. This is a long term thing, so going slow at the start is definitely sensible.

I’ve been around here now for way too long, and 5 minutes of gentle jelqing (about 150 jelqs) every 2/3 days tires out my dick but in a good way. It feels tired but plumped for about an hour or so and then just feels plumped. If I do it 2 days in a row, then it just feels tired for a few hours and there isn’t that plumpness. I still just do a modified version of the newbie routine as a maintenance thing but I also add an edging session with concentration on high EQ during the session (with as minimal hand contact and when necessary as gentle as possible to maintain the high EQ) through arousal. That doesn’t fatigue me at all. So perhaps some edging like that may help? But as ever pay attention to your PIs.

Most people jelq with a grip way too tight. The jelq grip should be pretty soft, this works best for me, maybe it will for you too.

I use to have the same problem as you. I fixed it by doing really light (extremely light) flaccid jelqs. Those and kegals gave me EQ through the roof.

It also helped me to go on to more advanced exercises.

What ever you do, do not continue on with the same routine that leaves you to fatigued.

I have the same problem (regardless of grip) until I drop my erection level down to about 30%, from this I get great engorgement and a lot less down time.

Thanks for the ideas everyone. As I tried to imply initially I have been jelqing with the lightest of grips but will try everyone’s suggestions. I’m starting to think kegels may be the cause of my lowered EQ.does anyone have experience with this? They seem to tire me (it.)out completely.

Cut down. They are done just to enhance EQ, not the adverse. :)

I’ve noticed the same problem, for about four months :/. I am finding it very hard to find the correct way to jelq. Every two weeks or so, I’ll find something that seems to work AMAZING, great EQ, and then all of a sudden I turtle for about a week. I rest and then try something new. Recently, I’ve found that dry jelqing seems to actually be working, I’m finally “feeling it” I hope. One problem throughout all of this though is that it seems to be harder and harder to get myself erect while in the shower, or to keep myself erect to get jelqs done. I’m frustrated, but pretty optimistic, I’m gonna stick with it.
