Surgical repair of Venous Leakage?

Surgical repair of Venous Leakage?

Just curious if anyone on the board has undergone surgical repair for venous leakage. I have suffered many years from ed due to this condition and know older methods have a very low success rate but understand there are some new options which may provide better results. Anyone?

Were you diagnosed with that? If that is the case your best bet is to go to a doctor and talk to him about available methods.

I also have this condition and am very interested in ways to repair it.

Igigi asked you whether or not you were formally diagnosed, feel free to respond to that question, or post something else relevant to your situation.

Whatever you do, do it soon. The longer you have that condition, the worse it gets.
I would suggest you try Ischiocavernosus training though. I had VL symptoms, too, but since I started IC training, lifting heavy weights, and some yoga hip stretches (hindi squat!), my VL symptoms are only present on days, I don’t feel fit, and even then it’s not nearly as pronounced. Personally, I haven’t tried penis pumps, yet.
Even if you pick up on said items, I suggest you go to a urologist and get some erection aids like cialis or viagra. Remember, the more erections you have, the more erections you can get, so even if you use medication to achieve them, in the long term your dick will be better, even without medication.
Best of luck!

Go see a vascular surgeon not a urologist.

The vascular surgeon might need a referral from an urologist. Also, it might not be VL or pharmacological treatment might suffice. I’d first consult an urologist, if it’s VL and other treatments failed, you see a surgeon. Surgery is a compromise medical field, a lot of treatments involve some trade off, albeit I don’t know what ligation entails.

Often urologist try to surgically correct the situation and they simply don’t have the vascular training as a trained vascular surgeon.

I am only 38 and have suffered with varying ED since I was 16-17 years old. I have spoken with two different urologist now and was about to have a penile Doppler when I lost insurance coverage so I am hoping to have that test in the next couple of months. I have have 100mg viagra and 20mg cialis on hand, and while they both significantly improve EQ, they are not fool proof and still don’t allow for 100% complete erections. I can’t tell you how long its been since I had a morning wood although I may wake up in the middle of the night with a 25% erection. I have some other symptoms as well such as muscle twitching which doesn’t go away so I’ve also had an MRI of the brain thinking it could be neurological like MS but the MRI was clean. I am at a loss but the urologist seems to be confident there is some level of venous leakage however the root cause is unknown. I use a pump at least 5x a week trying to keep the penis filled with blood hoping to improve EQ but I really can’t tell a difference. I am so frustrated at this point that I’ll never in my life just have normal erections.

By the general symptoms is seems to be that you’re severely depleted of essential nutrients. Unfortunately, no MD will address that issue. All an MD can offer you is drugs or surgery which doesn’t cure. If you end up indeed diagnosed with venous leakage and have some sort of surgery for it, the problem will come back after a few years if the issue is nutrient deficiency. That has to be addressed first, but the right specialist in that case would be a Naturopathic Doctor, ND.

You should load up on nutrients (literally all the minerals, all the vitamins, a lot of protein) for a month at the very least, it might be due to under-nutrition, which ironically is even possible with obese people. You might be dehydrated, drink a lot of water and eat salty. Also, pick up sports, if you are not already doing that.
All in all, your EQ might just be a symptom of general health problems, which are relatively silent other than your ED.

I appreciate the response. I am 5”11, 180lbs and workout 5 days a week. By most standards I am in perfect health.. I have had every blood test done you can possibly imagine and everything falls within range. I would bet the farm on a neurological condition seeing as how long this has gone on but I don’t get paid to make those diagnosis.
