Hi guys, just started the newbie routine. Today was my first off day. After the first day, I was sore (no pain) the first day, the second day less, and on my off day, didn’t feel anything. Is this normal? I thought maybe I’d be sore for a while. Am I not doing it with enough pressure or what?

sore is common. I also experience it when started. :)

I don’t think it’s necessary to have soreness to gain. When I get soreness it’s usually because I am gripping too aggressively when I stretch. I jelq pretty firmly but I don’t get sore. I think I would get significant red spots before I squeeze hard enough to actually make the tissue sore.

Feeling sore is good (it shouldn’t be painful though). Not feeling sore can be a sign that you need to increase intensity or try something different. But it’s definitely not your case. You are in business of conditioning you dick now. Wait a month and then see if you need to amend your newbie routine.

I only dry jelq at 50% erection and I jelq hard and slow and yes I still get a little sore after 3 days.

Yes, it’s completely normal help. You DO NOT to feel sore to know you are doing things correctly. If you are getting a good pump (or stretch feeling depending on the exercise) during your session and a nice full hang just after your session you are doing things just fine.

Thanks for clarifying that RTG, I was beginning to get worried. I apply a lot of pressure and the only thing that gets sore is my hands.

Take comfort in the fact that even if you never gain an inch on your dick, you will have forearms that would make Popeye blush. :D

Thanks for all your help guys, I was kind of worried because it was only sore the first day and after that it’s sore but I mean I can barely feel it. :)

I got the most sore from the BLP stretch. This is where you stand straight on one leg, put the other foot up on the sink, then pull straight down. However, I seemed to gain .2” after a week of that! (Of course I can’t be sure it’s the BLP that did: I also jelq and do light ULIs.)


Start: 6.3 x 5.2 (Feb '05)

Now: 7.9 x 5.65 (gain 1.6 x 0.45) - SFL 8.6"

Goal: 8.5 x 6.0 - Currently trying: jelqing, fulcrum hanging/bending. My data - Progress log

My grip has gotten stronger since I’ve started PE(jelqing). I’m the toughest handshaker even though I got small hands.

After knowing where your hands got so strong from remind me to just wave should we ever meet.

We ought to post pictures of our forearms. :-P
