One were to use an extender and then later decided to switch to hanging?

I want to start hanging, but I do not believe it will be logistically possible for me right now. Mainly, I have two roommates, so there is literally no time at which I am alone. However, I do believe that an extender would be feasible.

My question is: Could I use the extender to get as much gains as possible and then switch to hanging? What would be the effects of this?

I have researched the forums, but I didnt really find anything that addresses this specifically, so any help is greatly appreciated.

There should be no problem in changing from one to the other , But do remember that hanging is a more ‘vigorous ’ form of extension. so cauation must be your watchword at first. But there should be no ‘penile’ problem in switching from one to the other

What about in terms of gains? Do you think transitioning to hanging after a period of using an extender/ads would produce the same results as hanging in the first place?

It seems like the most commonly advised road to take is to get all you can from manual exercises, then get all your gains from lig pulling(from hanging) and then work on the tunica(extender).

In my (very eccentric and minority opinion) that’s exactly the best thing to do. Hanging starts with a very low weight - 1-2 pounds, and one should go for reaching the max total time with a low weight, trying to ‘fatigue’ penis.

With an extender, you can maximize this time more easily and with less chaos in your real life, if it’s clear what I mean.

Of course, when you switch to an hanger you should use a kind that resemble closely the extender : in example, if you used a vacuum-based extender, you should than hang with a vac-hanger.

I am leaning heavily toward a vacuum-based extender, and I have done countless hours of research over the past few weeks trying to find the right one for me. I’ve looked at Monkeybar’s Vac-Extender, but the newest version has yet to be released. I also found what looks to be a vacuum-based extender called the Static Stretcher. Problem is, I cannot find much at all as far as reviews or first-hand knowledge at Thunder’s.

I know many have had success with non-vacuum extenders, particularly the PeniMaster. Should I consider a non-vacuum based extender?

You should avoid noose-style extenders; other than that, extenders works pretty much all the same. The advantage of vacuum based extenders is that there are vacuum based hangers. Look at the kind of hanger you want to use in the future, and choice the extender that resemble it more closely.

Sounds good. I have heard Monkeybar’s Vac Extender can be converted and used as a hanger, so that’s probably what I’ll do eventually.

However, I also read that the Vac Extender used as a hanger will only handle a few pounds. Not to get too far ahead of myself, but what would be the best option when I start hanging heavier weights that the Vac Extender cannot handle?Are there any other good vacuum-based hangers out there that will handle the increased weight?

If my memory isn’t wrong, some members are able to use up to 25 lbs with a vacuum-style hanger.

With the AFB hanger and the Bib, the weight you can use is virtually unlimited, but those are build differently than any extender.
