Removing extender every 30 mins is it bad?

I am doing 1h sessions without removing the extender.

I was thinking to remove the extender every 30mins in order to restore blood in the glans with 10 secs light massage and put it back on.

Is this counterproductive?

If it´s one time you had to pee, it´s not bad

If it´s an imposed routine of delivering your penis from the extender every 30 minutes, it´s definitely very bad.

Noose type extenders are hard to be kept on, for longer than 45 mins, so I´d advice you to move to a vac extender, or the penimaster vacuum attachment instead of the noose or velcro or sizegenetics comfort strap, because these are very uncomfortable and even painful. They engorge the glans and can give you some glans gains but that´s not the focus of the extender so I´d say if you want length, you need something more comfortable.

I’m not familiar with all extender types but I’ve been using the quick extender pro, which is a noose style, for a little over a month and I’d say the key part is making sure you have the right tension.

If you feel like you “have” to take it off every hour then perhaps tension is too high. I can usually wear my extender for 2-3 hours before I start feeling sore.. And I’m clearly getting a good stretch when I wear it like this. I’ll take it off, massage for 5 minutes, and get some fresh blood flowing so I’m good to go for another 2 hours or so

If you’re just taking it off for the sake of taking it off and then massaging.. Well I can’t really comment since I’ve never done that and I don’t have enough experience to make an accurate comment whether or not it would slow down any gains

I have the memory foam pad around the noose so the noose is not directly touching me. My glands are enlarged but never in pain. Once I feel some discomfort, I’ll take it off and massage for five minutes or so.

The clue is to not having the noose to tight. To achieve that, you must assemble the extender at a length, that when compressed, your glans is almost i front of the extender. Then you tightening the noose comfortably, and release. Then the noose should not be trying to pull forward «through» your glans, but downwards to keep your penis in place, and the extender is doing the pulling forward, with force on the shaft instead of the ridge of the glans.

Don’t worry, you aren’t resetting your time extended by removing for massage and recirculation. The main thing is time under tension, regardless of a release of constant tension. You are wise to check on your unit. Good luck on your journey!

I’ve found that I can make excellent gains, in terms of how far I can stretch, by having multiple sessions with about a half hour between each. I just don’t have the lifestyle to do that all the time, or I would.

It’s not counterproductive at all to take short breaks.

I agree that if you’re going to use an extender a vacuum cup is preferable to a noose type. Though I have noticed if you don’t put the vacuum cup on just right, which is tricky, it can cause one side of the glans to grow more than the other and reduce your symmetry. Maybe that’s just me?

I got an extender and plenty of extra rods, but it’s just too much hassle to wear for long periods of time and it’s difficult to keep the area warm. It doesn’t help that the standard base ring doesn’t allow much girth and having an erection into it turns it into a very tight cock ring for people approaching and beyond 6” circumference. Larger girth set ups are available, but expensive for a tool I don’t really like using anyway. The cups that are used for the vacuum types have limited size too. It’s a very tricky thing to get a flaccid glans past a silicone sleeve because the cup behind the sleeve is too small for the erect glans. And the sleeves tear easily. It’s all very tricky.

To answer the original question, when stretching you can reach a point of fatigue where the penis does not experience tug back. If you’re passed the point of fatigue there will be no tug back immediately, if you are not passed it the penis will retract and be harder to stretch back out. So taking breaks before the point of fatigue could make the whole exercise more difficult.

I’m skeptical that the fatigue should be the goal of stretching myself, since in my experience going past the point of fatigue, while not causing immediate tug back, causes a significant (.5”) reduction in erect length the following days.
