I’ve researched this site for about a week and I started jelqing 4 days ago. I only wish I started this years ago. Thanks for all the info here. I haven’t taken any measurements yet but I will be keeping track. Just the little bit I’ve done have showed results in girth. I just wondered if you stop doing this at some point and time, will you keep your gains?

Yes, it is yours to keep. A lifetime commitment of light jelqing would be wise to keep the lines clear and blood flow at an optimum level.

Controversial topic, but most agree that with a minimal maintenance routine (say, 10 minutes, 3 times a week), you can probably keep your gains. And if you make them via a method such as hanging, you may not require any maintenance at all.

They call it cementing your gains. Apparently (from my understanding) when you plateau, you’re supposed to continue doing exercises for a few weeks. This should ensure that the gains stay. Contrary, former PE’ers (in some cases) have reported loss of size after prolonged periods of no exercises. So who knows.. Certainly, though, maintaining a light routine after reaching plateau will be a good idea.
