No More Growth After 1.5 Years Use Extender

Hi all,

Come here to ask the more experienced. It seems I reached my full length at ~18.5cm BPEL and I haven’t record any more gains after the first year or so.

Is it possible to gain more still or should I give up or change method?

Should I put more hours in the extender or is it pointless?

I’ve using it 5 or 6 days a week, for at least 4hours per day, upto a maximum of around 6 hours. My BPFSL is stagnant also at ~19.5cm, so I don’t know if I should try and push my boundaries and try to extend longer or put more hours (I don’t want to kill my unit either!).

Generally speaking if you’ve hit a wall, there are 2 choices. 1 Take an extended period of time off to decondition the tissues. 2 Add Ultrasound or Far-IR heat to the process.

About 1 inch total. Started at 17cm BPFSL and 16.5cm BPEL.

I dont get it, you havent had any gains over the last 1.5 yrs?
Or you have gained over 1.5 yrs, which is your total extender wear, but now no more?
If so what has been the total time of non-gaining?
How much did you usually gain/per month or other time increment?

You also didnt mention anything about whether you progressively increased the tension neither…

Next Goal: 8.0" x 5.5" (Next deadline: July 2024).

Extender: 1.2k hours (6/5/2024). Goal: 3k hours.

Exactly, I gained for about 1 year slowly but steadily, but I’ve been using the extender for another 6 months past that year and haven’t record any more gains. At the start I followed the increase recommended by manufacturer and most of the posts in here, after around 6 months of usage I had to increase more slowly. I used to feel less tension after a few weeks of use indicating me that I should increase length on the device to adjust to my new size, but now I haven’t had to adjust since about 5 months.. Maybe new growth after a year is painfully slow, maybe I should take a break to decon, I don’t know.

The law of diminishing returns is going to apply to most things you do. The way I see it, you have three options:

1: Take a break so your body isn’t used to the extender anymore, and then start again.
2. Add heat
3. Switch to a different exercise like pumping or hanging.

What I personally would do is do all 3. I would take a few months of maintenance, and then start heated hanging. (Of course, this depends on whether or not you have a convenient time to hang.)


Then again, I'm a virgin so anything I say might be completely incorrect.

I’ve had similar experience.
I’m about 4 years in at this point.

Gains since the first year have been much more gradual than initially, but they are still occurring. I tend to have spurts of gains where all of a sudden, I’ll be able to extend more and it’ll stay that way for a while again.

I’ve added ADS, hanging, and pumping. All of them seem to add more to the routine and at least have temporary effect.

For sure, hanging does more since it’s more tension and pumping helps solidify gains. But I feel like, at this point, it’s all just very slow but steady progress.

How long per day were you using the extender and what device ?

Noose type extender knockoff. At least 3 to 4 hours per day and upto 6hs maximum, and usually 5 to 6 days a week.

I’d recommend keeping going with the extender and ADDING other things your routine.
