Newbie routine+extender??

I tried searching this question before posting a new thread, but I have a question about extenders. While undergoing the time trial for the newbie routine, is it ok to use a extender? I am back and fourth on if I should just do the three months and see if i can gain that way or try to kick start it by using a extender. Also how am I supposed to know what tension to set it at(my extender didnt come with instructions). I just don’t want to do something that might affect my gains in a negative way.

While I don’t think using an extender would have any negative effects I believe we should try to squeeze as many gains out of as little stimulus as possible. I would just stick with the newbie routine until it stops working for you. After it stops working then using an extender could be a viable option in getting gains back.

The decision is yours of course and either way I wish you the best of luck.

Why do you want to use an extender? I have done my fair share of research on extenders and already have one in mind if I end up purchasing one, but I’m gaining at a decent rate so no need to do anything more than my current exercise.

It just doesn’t make sense to me why people insist on adding to a routine before they see if it works. Did you consider that you might reduce or inhibit your gains by adding an extender? I’m not saying that will happen but you haven’t even conditioned your dick properly which usually results in traumatizing your dick. I guess I’m a firm believer in working on technique and consistency and the results will come.

I see what you guys are saying. I just figured it would help. I just don’t understand how I can do this consistently and accurately and gain nothing while some random guy that already has a 7 inch dick comes across the site and decides to try it and gains the first month.

I apologize if I ask indecent questions but according to your profile you are not a newbie to the site.
Does that mean you are now about starting regular PE exercising or do you have a (frustrating) past of failed attempts that did not work.
Your post number 4 has some subtext in it that can be interpreted that way.

In my eyes it is quite a difference if you have 2 years of experience and want to try a combined extender/newbie routine -
or if you are a “real” newbie who has the idea of accelerating the whole procedure by using extender in addition of the newbie routine?

Which one is the case?

In my case I am a failed experiment basically. I have been on and off of pe for two years now and never gained no matter what routine, how much, how little, etc. I stopped doing pe all together about six months ago, b/c of a injury I got. I started bleeding form y urethra. Me being the fucktard that I can be at times, continued to pe thinking that maybe I had stretched to much or did too long of a warm up. I believe my problem generated from either two high of erection or to much grip pressure, or both. I have been doing pe for since December 4th now with no problems at all, i contribute that to a much softer grip and better erection level.

So at the end of the day I am new but old at the same time.

Sorry to hear about your injury, but then I think the answer is then clear. An extender creates considerable pressre to both corpus right behind the glans. Therefore, I’d say it is in the moment not the best idea to wear it.

A light intensity version of the Newbie routine, starting at very short duration (5mins) with a real slow gradual build-up could be the way to go. A maximum increase of another 5 minutes every 3 or 4 weeks seem reasonable to me.

I have made very good experiences with jelqing at very low erection levels - it seems to be beneficial for length gains. And the grip for the stretching can be quite light too, not going to the maximum of extension capacity. Maybe 80% of the stretching limit, not more. Give your urethra some time to adopt to the exercises.

You can make considerable and durable gains with “just” the Newbie Routine - only it may take some more time. But in my humble opinion going safe is more important than going fast.

How is your PI when doing that routine?

Erection level?
Still get morning wood?
Does your dick stay plump after the workout or turtle?
Can you maintain a plump feel throughout your jelq exercise till the end? Or does it start to soften toward the end?

I was just about asking the same question as Craven. I still think you are racing a wee bit into it, especially for the jelqing.

Why not limit yourself for month 2 on 10 and 10 minutes. The heating looks very good, so the results should start to show.

I think my PI’s are good. The only thing I seem to pay attention to is morning wood which I do have every day. Is there other PI’s I should be focusing on?

Richard are you suggesting for me to bump my stretches up to ten mins and do my jelqs for ten mins for this month also(month 2)?

That is exactly what I think would be reasonable.
Stretching 10 minutes and jelqing 10 minutes per session for the second month.

In the third month raise to 15 and 15 minutes. And so on in month 4 (20/20) and 5 (25/25) etc etc.

I am a bit worried about your injury and that’s the reason I propose to go very slow.

I believe my injury has healed. I havent had any pain nor any blood like before. I was gripping way to hard before. what is a good grip actually I dont want to go to soft and I know what to hard does hahaha. would you relate it the pressure you would squeeze if you were to squeeze a babys wrist for attention?

I will try what you say, the first month i did 10 min(200 wet jelqs), and I will do the same for the second month as well.

I have once read in the forum that the perfect jelq grip is like “dripping off liquid honey from a stick”.
Now that really does not use a lot of force.

I try to grip just so hard (or better: smoothly) that I feel the blood moving when jelqing.
Also I found out that jelqing seems to work better with quite low erection levels.
Not the recommended 50-670%, more 30-40%.
I have the impression the blood can flow around with less restriction and I still can build up sufficient pressure to get it in direction of the glans.
