Newbie Question/Weird Pain

Newbie Question/Weird Pain

So I took about a 4 day PE break. Yesterday I PE’d and upon reading this post about cooling down I decided to try it, probably in a very silly fashion.
I warmed up in a shower, stretched, jelqed. I proceeded to “cool down” with a very cold small towel and a cold shower. It was pretty darn cold. I felt this weird shooting pain in my base. I decided this was a poor idea and turn it to warm and decided to warm up at that point.

Today I went to PE again. Had no problems with stretching, but a little into jelqing I felt the same weird kind of stretching pain at my base. Now it wasn’t unbearable pain, but it made me curious. It’s not exactly normal for me to feel pain in my penis, unless say, I run into something. Anyhow I proceeded anyway and decided to warmup at the end in a warm shower to try and cause the pain to subside. I don’t feel it now. I don’t know if this is normal.

It was almost like it was a feeling sore pain, I don’t know if it was limited to the skin or part of the penis below the skin as well. I am cut, and my penile skin is rather tight. Is it possible the pain has something to do with this?

Has anyone had similar experiences and does anyone have any suggestions? Having went on a 4 day break, I planned on doing 3 days straight then taking a 2-3 day break and then going again. Unfortunately with my current living situation it’s not exactly practical for me to be PE’ing 2 days on and 1 day off. I hope this isn’t a bad idea. I’m well aware I need to allow my penis to rest.

I’m simply guessing here, as there is no apparent damage, I can only assume you have got something like a chilblain there with ‘hot swelling’ blood trying to get throgh a sudden small cold tube as it were.

It’s probably worth leaving it a couple of days, and then do some gentle exercise.

Is the area discoulored, or swollen or hard?

If nothing then there is not a lot you can do except to leave off Pe for a few days. Or report back here if anything does develop.

Psst! The link is at the bottom of the page :bigwink:

I’ve hurt myself twice now just starting out.. It’s right to the left and right of my balls.. A generally sore feeling and a hot warm rushing feeling as well.. I didn’t even masturbate for 5 days or touch myself.. But I think I just have to wait maybe another week and see how it feels.

I’m starting to think maybe the newbie routine is to tough. Or you guys are going way to rough.

I’m not even at 100 jelgs 3 weeks into PEing.

So cut back on time and or jelging pressue.

There are a lot of new members reporting pain. What do some of the experts think?

I don’t claim to be an expert, but here’s what I think anyway:

1. I’m not sure about the ‘cool down’ theory; I think the jury is still out on the merits. I use heat, and cool down afterward, but from natural cooling, not from accelerated cooling from cold packs or ice or such.

2. I took the month off December off, and restarted the Newbie Penis Enlargement Routine
in January. I developed some soreness at the base on the left and right. My routine had not incorporated as much stretching before the break. Perhaps this soreness is what you’re feeling, JustLearning.

3. There’s nothing to say that you can’t do less than the Newbie Penis Enlargement Routine. The Newbie Penis Enlargement Routine is a ceiling, not a floor. It’s best to be patient and not exceed the Newbie Penis Enlargement Routine, but there’s nothing to say that you can’t go slower if you’re experiencing negative PIs (Physiologic Indicators (PIs) to help growth!). I have never heard anyone say that you will permanently lose the opportunity to gain by going slow. If you go too slow, you may not be effective, and you may not gain, but you will still have the opportunity to increase your effort later. On the other hand, too much too soon has the potential to limit your gains by your tissues toughening in response to the excess force. So good for you, Bggrsbttr!

Thanks lampwick. I just was wondering if people are strangling their members or something.

One thing I find is when jelging, your making an O from the ok sign. Sometimes I have squeezed to much on
The sides of the member instead of even pressure around it.

And maybe an overhand grip. This works well for me as for some reason it makes a better even fit.

It’s certainly possible to overdo it. Part of successful PE is figuring out the balance of enough force to be effective, and stopping short of too much force leading to pain and injury. Jelqing is a balance of speed and force applied to an object in a dynamic state. It’s more fun than patting your head and rubbing your stomach at the same time, though.

I really don’t feel like I’ve been going too hard. I’ve been following the newbie routine pretty closely. I’ve been going for about a month now. I’d say I’d added more stretching and maybe a little less jelqing. How do I really know if I’m limiting my growth or not? I mean when you stretch you want to use force such that you actually FEEL a stretch correct? I don’t put myself in ridiculous pain. However, you guys are getting me a little freaked into thinking that I’ve stunted my future PE growth. so… what am I to do?

Maybe you just kind of blue balled yourself. You said you haven’t masturbated in a few days, maybe you are just a little tight from that? I know that my balls hurt for a while when I quit masturbating, it could be the same thing.

Starting Pics: The Leap of Faith: Here are my starters.

I’m guessing what happened here is you thought taking 4 days off was bad, so you either consciously or subconsciously upped the intensity of your workout on the day back to compensate for the time off. You slightly over did it. Coincidentally, you also tried actively cooling down for the first time at the same time. The following day the soreness was even more evident.

Trust me, a cold cloth or shower after PEing won’t cause injury.

When I first started PE I experienced pains that had me worried I wouldn’t be able to do it at all. My non-routine “routine” was even more minimal than what most start with today, yet I had to take long periods of time off between sessions. I think I did somewhere around 6 my first month.

The newbie routine here, same as any suggested beginning PE plan anywhere, is only a rough guide. Pay attention to how you respond. Adjust accordingly. The ability to do so will become even more important if/when you later move on to hanging or other PE techniques.

You are new to PE. Forget actively cooling. If/when you go on to hanging, clamping or pumping, it may or may not help a little.

I take cold showers sometimes after a PE session. No pain or injury whatsoever.

Good to have experienced members chime in on this. I think some think they must do 200 jelgs on the first day in 10 mins.

Thanks for the input, especially from a gainer.

It’s easy to be overenthusiastic; more difficult to be patient.

Well I guess the point and from what I have learned is if it’s a sensation like you got a good workout, than it’s OK.

If it’s pain different than that then maybe you over did it some and just cut back a little on what you did that caused it.

Since the pain went away after the shower, that is a good sign.

Didn’t mean to get you too concerned it’s just that I noticed about 3 posts in the past couple of days
About people hurting themselves.
