Hey all, I’ve been off and on PE. I’ve been back at it for a couple months now, with some favorable results. Prior to starting back, I hadn’t PE’d in approximately 2 years. Anyway, my question:

Is it acceptable to grip from mid-shaft when doing manual stretches? I feel like a get a much better stretch that way. I’ve experimented with grabbing mid-shaft with the opposing hand and pushing in the opposite direction (I.e. Ok grip and grabbing with left and pushing right).

I don’t think so. For one, only half of your shaft gets stretched that way. Also, it’s very hard to avoid stretching the skin when you grip like that.

Thanks for the help Up! What do you think of applying it sparingly (one round per session, 15 - 20 sec in each direction) to concentrate on the ligs? I get some good tension in the ligs, not to the point of pain of course. I should probably be concentrating more on the tunica anyway.

What’s wrong with gripping behind the glans? Doesn’t that work for you?

I sometimes do the same, because then I feel I’m hurting my glans, I can’t really get a grip.

I don’t know if you tried, but use toilet paper or paper towels to get a better grip.

I grip all over the map. My basic grip is under the glans, but I have to be careful not to pinch the skin when I do this. I’ve left a few dark marks where this happened. They look like hickies. :p This has happened when I’m stretching under the leg in the hot tub and I can’t see the grip so well. When I started PE I had very tight foreskin (cut) so I never had such an issue. But over the years the skin has stretched quite a bit so the issue took me by surprise.

But my favorite stretch is at the base with about 75% erection. I push down as far as I can get against the pubic bone, grip firm with the blood engorged above and stretch the base of the ligs. It’s like a very intense jelque that doesn’t move up the shaft. :) I wouldn’t suggest this as the only stretch but as a supplement to focus the stretch location at the lig attachment while also getting expansion above. It’s also not a newbie routine at all, so be careful.

I began this originally to address my left bend which seems to be due to reduced localized expansion at the bend location near the base, and tight ligs on the left side. I couple this stretch with 440s and clamped bends focused at this location. Since doing this the bend has moved up away from the base and my baseball bat shape has been reduced some.

Up, I usually do grip just behind the glans, but do get some slippage sometimes. I do use grip-aids sometimes to compensate. I just feel like a get a different, more tense stretch when I grip more mid-shaft. Is it not favorable to stretch the skin, due to turkey-necking? It’s not uncomfortable for me.

Mushroom, have you noticed any detriments from modifying your grip points?

Excess skin and possibly turkey neck, yes.

If you have problems with grip, wash your hands and penis before PE, it works for me. :)

Talcum powder also helps with gripping. As long as most of your stretching is gripped just below the gland a bit of variety is not a bad thing.

Er… talcum powder will make the slippage worse? Maybe things are called differently there. Anyway baby powder will help the grip thanks to the zinc powder in it.

Yes, I’m happy with the extra skin. It actually slides over the shaft when 100% erect now. This was not possible before. I just now have to be careful not to pinch any skin when I’m gripping to stretch.

None. In fact, I originally started changing up my grip due to the skin pinches, and some spots on the glans where the grip had created excessive pressure above the grip. By changing up my grip I avoid over-pressuring the same location on the glans. I also kegle-pump up the glans more before stretching to give me a bigger unit to hold. This keeps the skin expanded to avoid pinching and keeps the glans expanded longer through the stretch preventing over-localized pressure and spotting.
