Maintain an erection without stimulation - venous leak

What the OP is describing is so normal. Don’t worry about it. We read things on the internet and start to convince ourselves we have a “problem”. There is no problem here. Some guys stay erect without stimulation and others don’t. There are probably many factors involved, such as age and health etc. If everyone who logged into TP in the last 24hrs antucally read this thread and posted if they have similar epxeriences with erections, the thread would already eb several pages long, as it’s perfectly common.

I remember when I was like 14-15 I could mantain an erection as long as I wanted even without visual/audio/mechanical stimulation. I would watch a porn then go in the kitchen , make me a sandwich and return back to porn, all this with the same erection. LOL

Yeah, I wasn’t saying it wasn’t normal. It’s just something I’d like to fix. So identifying things we have in common may help.

Once you convince yourself you have a “problem” then your crazy mind can start jabbering at you “problem problem problem” whenever you go to have sex.

Then you are too busy listening to your crazy mind jabbering to actually relax and enjoy yourself.

Everybody “ebs and flows” somewhat, except maybe teenagers?

I find very difficult to maintain an erection without a steady stimulation with hands.. I am a porn addicted and also think that PE desensitize your penis as well.

Good to hear many of you guys consider it normal. It’s not really a problem for me just an annoyance.

My glans stays fairly full most of the time especially the longer I have had the erection. My spontaneous/morning erections tend to have less glands swelling but are sometimes harder. I have an upward trajectory in at my point of exit but a slight downward curve so the end result is my erection point pretty much straight out.

I gave up porn for Lent and by grace I have kept away from it for over a week now. I want to see how this affects my erection quality with real women. I sometimes think that by looking at pictures of hundreds of beautiful women in many different highly erotic poses (METart and such) and videos of the best most stimulating angles (often the angle of the observer not the participator) that I have dulled the receptors in my brain to the natural stimulation of sex with a girl (the visual angles are different). Normally I wouldn’t think this would be a big deal but I looked at porn for years and years and only recently started having sex.

Sometimes I can keep an erection with out stimulation and I sometimes can’t. And I wouldn’t see it as a problem if I couldn’t. It’s normal. I am not 15 years old any more.

It just depends on if I’m actually turned on or not. If I am really horny I don’t need to be stimulated at all and can maintain the erection for up to 15 minutes. Other times when I’m really horny the erection won’t go away unless I do something about it. But if I’m not horny at all then my erection will dissipate within 2 minutes.
