I’ve been jelqing the way you described for over a year now. 4-5 times a week 20-30 min at a time.
I got about 0.5eg worth of gains before I started seriously clamping. So jelqing does work for girth gains. If you do it the other way where you completely let go in between strokes it just feels like your stretching/pulling and working on length only. You have to build and feel pressure and then move that pressure around if you want to see girth gains.
I’m also in the same boat trying to get down a good routine for jelqing. Like everyone else my main concern is to not stretch my foreskin.
What grip did you use? The “ok” grip, and using a second hand?
I tried it a few times with one hand, but only focusing on pressing on the sides with my fingers pointing down. I guess this would be pinching. From other threads I had read, I was under the impression I should focus the pressure on the sides, not the top and bottom. I don’t think this method is very effective at all for girth though. I think it may benefit me for length, but I want both.
After reading this thread I think I will switch to the two handed grip and see how that works. Hopefully I will get a routine down, and just focus on the exercises.
Krod, I see you’ve gained quite a bit in length. How does your foreskin look now when erect? I’m hoping with increased flaccid, and erect length, I won’t notice my foreskin as much. I’ve been trying to focus on gaining length, and girth, but avoiding stretching the skin in the process.
