I would have to say that pumping doesn’t “toughen the penile tissues” any more than any other form of PE.

What I gained through all of those years of pumping was some good girth, and a pretty big flaccid. I also managed to stretch my scrotum out pretty hugely by using an oversized tube. Hanging is it’s own form of PE, and just like any other exercise, needs its own conditioning. I found that there was a pretty big learning curve with the hanging: it took me about six months to figure out hanger placement, tension, wrapping, and then the actual hanging sets themselves.

I was about 7” “in the tube” and went to 8” post-workout after about a year of hanging: keep in mind that this is after years of pumping with no EL gains, just gains in the pump. I believe that hanging is the exercise for making length gains: I also believe that it is one of the most dangerous and most difficult exercises to master. Hanger type and adjustment is critical, and sometimes not easy to learn, and the hanger itself put a lot more direct stress on the penis. Having said this, I think it it is also the most effective for length gains (for the same reason).

So you would recommend pumping as a good method for gaining girth? Did you pump at low pressure like the pumping 101 thread advice? Did you take rest days each week while pumping?

How much girth did you gain before you started hanging? What hanger did you use?

Sorry for all the questions. It is just that I have started pumping and hope it will give me some girth gains. Also, I have just ordered the BIB-hardcore starter to try some “old school”-hanging and to have a extra hanger I can use if I get a water blister from my vacuum hanger.

Honestly, babbis, my pumping was all done pre-Thunder’s: back in the early-mid 90’s. At the time, guys were getting into the “extreme pumping” fetish, and I sadly jumped on the bandwagon and pumped myself into erectile dysfunction.

The one thing that really worked for me, though, was using a cockring. I strongly believe that letting the tissue heal in the enlarged or extended state is one of the keys to growth in PE. I got great length gains from hanging, and I’m convinced that using the traction wrap/ADS was the key to those gains. I didn’t start keeping records until after Size started the PE Data Site, but I’ve definitely gained over 1.25” in EL and 1” in girth over the years.

Thanks for the answers GlandMaster! I am taking it very slowly with the pumping and have only just touched 5HG till now. I will stay around 4HG for some months since I think it feels better then around 5HG.

I am not so sure regarding ADS usage. I was a strong believer in ADS in the beginning of my career but I am starting to question its effectiveness. I will get around to testing its importance eventually.

Also, really refreshing to hear about your length gain of “only” 1,25 inches “over the years”. I keep reading that people have gained 2” + in only 8-16 months yet I have not gained 1” yet this year, and I have been really consistent, kept a good log and trained smart.

Your girth gain is really encouraging to me since I have yet to get any gains in that department. I am 5,3” mid-shaft now so a 1” gain would put me right up there.

Back to the thread! I really feel like hanging is one of the best ways to PE for length. I know most look at hanging as a advanced exercise but I think one could start with hanging if one has the time and privacy. The key, in my opinion, is to start with extremely low weight (0,5kg-1kg), 10-30min and lots of rest days.
