Is hanging really tops

From what I have read, hanging seems to be the way to go, especially if you have lots of time to work with. So, does anybody have any thoughts on this?

Depends on what your goals are and what seems to suit your eye best. I have always loved pumping and have combined it with jelqing and clamping. I also do manual stretching, but have never done hanging. Go figure.

From what I’ve read, hanging and clamping are tops, but I’m liking the idea of chemical P.e. Drugs used to make it easier to deform collagen in the right way. I’m sticking with manual for now though.

I never gained any meaningful length through ten years of pumping. Once I tried hanging, the length gains came. It was a difficult jump to make, because of the sheer danger of it, but I really got the length gain I had been looking for after hanging.

Hanging is the way to go as far as length. For girth clamping is most popular. Both of these seem to be the most effective ways.

So if you want length than hang.

If you want girth clamp.

This is a dumb question but how long does it take get some length by hanging (I got 9 months free)

Is jelqing sitting down okay?

Do you need to be conditioned to hang?

What’s the best hanger to use? (I would probably make mine)

Anyone know of any good contraptions to help you stretch? (I feel like developing arthritis!)

And, perhaps most importantly, how do you measure? I suppose it doesn’t really matter as long as you are consistent in measuring one way, but still.

Hanging is a very effective method of gaining length for most guys. I have a vacuum hanger. It works well and is comfortable to wear. Lately, I’ve been using the ADS strap attachment for several hours per day with clamping. I haven’t hung weights in nearly two weeks now, but seem to be hitting a growth spurt with the current program. So far, I’d say ADS stretching is a very good length exercise, also.

Time - you never know, it’s all personal.

Jelquing sitting down sounds fine.

Conditioning is a relative thing - you shouldn’t overexert yourself in relation to what you can handle, but there’s no point in “toughening up”.

If you are going to make your own, search for Wench and Wenchette.

Wenchette, maybe?

We currently have 822,896 posts available for reading and searching. Do you believe these common questions haven’t been asked and answered many times before? You’re asking us to spend our time spoon feeding you information because you’re too lazy to look it up.

This isn’t aimed at you in particular, but all newbies everywhere in general: When I enter into a field I’m not familiar with and find a forum, newsgroup or other archived source of information on the topic, I read, lurk, learn and search. I don’t jump in and immediately ask the participants to hand me basic information. You’ll learn a lot more by taking this approach than begging for handouts.

Yes, I think you should do a basic manual routine for a few months before hanging. Spend all that time reading everything you can about hanging because you’re going to need the knowledge to hang effectively.

The best hanger is the one that when used properly works for what you’re doing at the time. Homemade, commercial Bib, whatever…doesn’t really matter. You should understand the difference between pulling on skin, the head and the shaft itself.

For reducing arm strain while manually stretching, my desk chair works nicely. I can stretch over the back of it doing a reverse v-stretch with my arms fully extended (elbows locked). Other locked arm stretches work well. Be creative. There are many ways to minimize arm strain. Grip endurance is the primary limiting factor to manual stretching.

About measuring: hobby - New “member”

I prefer the manual approach. The tension is instantly variable, the risk of injury is very much smaller than with hanging, it requires no equipment which may be found by others, many angles can be hit easily in the same session, it’s instantly adjustable to ensure you are gripping the internal structures not just the skin. It has many advantages over hanging.

The only advantage I can see to hanging is the arm/grip fatigue argument. Why not use manual stretches as an exercise for your arm and grip endurance as well? As your strength builds, your routine gets longer and the amount of stretch tension increases; built in PE progression!

All depends on the task you want/have to do while you do PEing. Hanging allows multitask because your hand are all free ;) . Jelquing requires both your hands ,but you can “control” the intensity of the routine. Its all about the time you got to do your PEing. :D
