Is 5.5 girth a good starting girth?

My length is a bit on the lower side of average coming in at 5.5” BPEL (I mismeasured by accident, so not quite as long as I thought), but my EG at base is also 5.5”. Is that a good starting point?

I was the same starting stats as you. Yes, 5.5”X5.5” is a great starting size in my opinion. I started out concerned that larger girth was going to be a challenge with gaining length but I gained 1.5” in length through hanging in the first year.

Five and a half girth is well above average, and five and a half length is actually bang on average length. There’s no “good” or “bad” as far as starting size. I think the idea that it is harder to gain length with thicker girth is just a theory, not supported by anything I’ve ever seen. Good luck in your endeavors.

Anyone with lower than average can get average with PE. And anyone with average can get bigger than average..

Well, your girth is bigger than mine and it’s what I’m exactly looking for. At the end what really matters is that you still want to make it bigger despite any measurement.

Starting at 5.5” means girths of 5.75” and 6” are likely possible with an average commitment. For those who start smaller, subtract accordingly.

Also, based on what women have said online before, girth matters more to them than length…so even if you only got up to 6.5”x5.75”, most would see that as more ideal than say 8”x5.25”.

We all have our insecurities. I’d kill to have your girth, but I’m sure there’s someone else out there who would kill to have my length and/or girth.

Just know that you have a great starting point. Length gains are generally easier to achieve than girth gains. You’ll reach your goal size in no time.
