How do you guys properly measure the size (while erect)? Should it be measured from top or bottom?

Check out this thread: How to Measure Your Penis. It gives examples of how to measure properly and it’s so much easier for me than to write it all out. To answer your question, you measure from the base to the tip of your penis.
Start 11/20/16 ====> 5.75" BPEL/ 4.5" EG. 1/19/17====> 6.625" BPEL/ 4.75" EG. 11/24/17====> 6.75" BPEL/ 4.75" EG.
