Got back into PE exercises about 2 weeks ago and there were some problems finding time and privacy but I think I found the solution.

We bought a hot tub a few months ago and the last week or so I’ve started ending my day with stretches in the tub typically 10-30 minutes. I stretch in all directions holding for 10-30 seconds, move to the left do soft bends in 4 directions at 3-4 different length points (up, down, left, right), move to the left and do helicopters 4 x move to the left and do more stretches in all directions. Then I get out try to jelq 25-30 reps in 4-8 directions (up, down, left, right, straight, diagonal up, down, left,.) followed by a good warm/hot shower and then to bed.

The tub is set for 102 and it is nice and private, doesn’t look suspicious to the fam or wife, so I think I’ve got a solid PE exercise plan.

Any thoughts of whether or not what I’m doing is okay. Any recommendations?

Nothing wrong in the routine assman if it is giving you gains then stary with it.

There is debate on whether jelqs should come first or after stretching, so perhaps you could change them round to see if that makes any difference. - It does for some people

I agree with petitfaun. If you gaining, then it can’t be wrong. Had a hot tub in my previous house but not now. :( Must do wonders for a stretching routine.

It’s strange but when Hot tubs are mentioned I always think of wooden beer barrel shapes. The long Tub was originally called a slipper bath. Although the original slipper bath had a sort of cover at the end - to stop the splashes I suppose. So I always get the vision of someone jelqing away in a barrel.

I stretch in a hot tub at least twice a week. I’ve found the heat really helps get a good stretch. The flaccid after the hot tub is amazing. It sounds like you have a good solid routine. Keep gaining.

Well I’m glad to hear that the routine appears to look okay. I just started about a week or two ago so I’m not sure how well it’s going to work or how long I will wait to change it if I don’t see improvements. I want to stick with it for atleast 3 months before I give up on it although I’m sure it will work.

I don’t jelq in the tub because it makes the skin “squeaky clean” and therefore not slippery and I read that the only lube you can effectively use in the tub is silicone. I have bought some but I’m saving that for a time when the wife wants things alittlee slippery in the tub. We’ve christened the tub and it’s the same as a pool as it washes all the lube away so it is not the greatest if your into thrusting or jelqing.

I do my jelqing after because I want to avoid getting lotion or lube in the tub (heard it wreaks havoc on chemical balancing) and I also have read about the importance of the warm up which I never really did when I took my first 3-6 month run at PE a year or 2 ago. It just seems convenient to hop in the tub for the warm up and stretches for 15-30 minutes and then head down to the washroom for 100-200 jelqs then take a shower to get rid of the lotion and chlorine and then head to bed. The beauty of it is that nothing about it looks suspicious to anyone aside from the 5-15 minutes I spend jelqing but I’d just say I was plucking the pubes or taking a dump.

As for which to do first, the jelqing or stretching. I don’t recall reading anything about a big advantage either way. Although if I was to guess I envision that stretching first is best as it gets everything stretched bent etc and this I feel makes everything expand even more during jelqing. What do I know?

Would it be better to have the tub at a higher temperature or is 102 okay?

For what it is worth, remember that many people swear by “Dry Jelqs” (that is, jelqing with no lube). They feel that “not slippery” gives them better results than slippery lubed jelqing. So you could conceivably try doing a few “Dry Jelqs” in the tub and see how it works for you.

I guess I may give dry jelqs a try. Is 102 degrees hot enough or should I be setting it to 103 or 104. Also is the 15-30 min stretching in the tub enough?

Like is said I haven’t noticed any real gains but it has been less than 2 weeks since returning to PE so not sure if this is working yet but I can’t see how it wouldn’t.

Sounds amazing. I would like to join

There’s a steam room in my local gym and I’ve smuggled in my STJ under my towel a handful of times. Holy damn the gains! It easily gets over 100 degrees Celsius and I would do 10 min sets and keeping the pressure tight enough to keep it from slipping, but low enough to be comfortable. I could only imagine how amazing it would be to sit in a hot tub for half an hour water pumping. I’ve actually debated finding an airbnb / hotel that has a Jacuzzi in suite just to marathon pump.
