Girlfriend thinks I'm nuts

I am a new poster, long time lurker, and only now have I “got involved” (posting stats). I just have one issue that hasn’t been discussed very often and I needed some insight:

The woman I am living with not only doesn’t like the idea of me doing PE (she has walked in on me doing it several times), she uses it as a sign that I’m not committed to the relationship and I’m getting my member primed and ready for the next gal.

My defense of the contrary was a disaster.. When I told her that I was doing it to keep her interest, she got all indignant and yelled “Oh! So you think I’m gonna just cheat on you.” “I’m a slut?” yadda yadda..

I am under the impression that I can do PE without having any ulterior motives. My body is a temple to house my brain, and I need it in prime condition, which is why I exercise. My penis is part of my body, thus it needs exercise. This explanation offers no resolve either..

Has anyone successfully convinced their mate not to be threatened by their interest in PE? Does anyone have mates who are happy with their PE’ing?

I don’t know yet, I’ll let you know when I come back off of leave. I have been away from my wife for 9 months now. She has no clue as to my PE. I will keep you posted. Seriously, I hope things work out for you.

I would term jumping from one extreme to the other like that (you want to cheat to you think she wants to cheat), unreasonable. But then again I don’t know exactly how you worded your statements either.

I believe none the less that it’s a communication problem.

When I informed my loved one of my interest she raised her eyebrow a little, we talked and joked a little, then she left me to it. Not a big deal, my decision.

There are many here who have supportive mates. Mine was on the fence at first, and still has minor issues from time to time, but really only took a month before she saw the fruits of my labor and begrudgingly came over to the dark side. Hell, some members here have wives that chase them around with a ruler wanting to double check their BPFSL. ;)

Without knowing anything about your relationship it’s hard to say. I’m sure everyone reacts differently, but that seemed a bit on the drastic side, have you two had trust issues in the past?

My girl accepted it pretty well, she obviously did the reassuring act but wasn’t opposed to it. “As long as it makes you happy.” At one point she was worried that I was getting to obsessed with it but now she’s back to supporting me. Only thing she’s worried about is me getting to big to have sex with her :( That’s basically my limit as far as she’s concerned.

Not really. She’s a little uptight about some things, but only if they are in front of her. She says she doesn’t mind the fact I still masturbate, but if she comes in while I’m doing it, she gets weird about it.

I think it has more to do with the fact she walked in on me doing PE and I calmly explained what I was doing. Had I gained an inch and she asked about it, I don’t think it would have been an argument.. But that didn’t happen so it is. Kinda like when I used to smoke pot and she wouldn’t get pissed if I told her I was a little high, but if she walked in on me hittin’ the pipe she’d roll her eyes and get all bitchy.

Oh, by the way, I didn’t quote her verbatim. I guess that the way I wrote it, it made her seem like a real bitch. The way she said it and the context it was in, it sounded a little more defensive. I guess you have to use your imagination.

Ahhh. Hope you don’t think I was being judgmental or anything, just seemed jumping form penis enlargement to infidelity was odd. I understand better what you’re saying and have had similar experience too. The wife knows I enjoy the herbal goodness once in a while, and many times will have a puff or two with me, but like yours… for some reason if she walks in on me with the pipe to my mouth and the eyes bulging from holding a hit in, she looks at me like I just ran over the dog, over and over again.

She’s never walked in on me PE’ing yet, and I’m grateful now that I talked to her about it before I even started, but still, I’d bet I’d get the same look if she walked in and caught me up to my elbows in oil jelqing like a madman. It’s just not something they want or need to see. ;)

Yeah, you’re probably right. You can kind of see her logic… 'If he was doing it for me, why would he try to hide it?' type thing. Too bad you can’t turn back the clock and replace your calm explanation with, “Damnit! I was hoping to surprise you some day soon with a bigger dick and earth-shattering orgasms.”

I think you made a mistake in telling her it had anything to do with the relationship. Just tell her you figured out it was possible and wanted to give it a try, nothing to do with her, but you hope she likes it.

My wife has been incredibly supportive and interested about PE. I’d just finished a session the other day and I thanked her (again) for being supportive and allowing me the privacy to do PE. She got this glassy. far away look in her eyes and said that after all it was good for both of us. Our sex life has improved and our relationship is stronger because of this kind of support on both of our parts. I hope you get this worked out. Good luck

It’s your body so just let her know it’s not up for discussion tell her she has three choices 1) Be supportive and you will love her more. 2)Live with because you ain’t stopping 3)Hit the road

I just realized how lucky I am. My girl friend is so interested in my P.E. At the beginning when I told her she did all sorts of research so she could fully understand everything and has enthusiastically listened to lengthy explanations of advanced P.E. exercises. She’s even watched me do my routine with interest and given me a hand :)

Heck, my girl, who is a member here, specifies the type of PE she’d like me to do. She prefers when I pump over when I hang as she likes the visual. Results in sex that night every time. The manual exercises might be a harder sell because women probably think we’re just playing with our dicks.

Wow, that’s a whole nother level above me. Lucky man.
