I am newbie and still trying to grasp the terms. What does edging mean? And in terms of jelqing, I am using moderate force to my 80%-90% erect penis. Good enough to feel the penis is being stimulated.

The penis needs to be more than stimulated, you are trying to break tissue in a controlled way. Try gripping at the bottom hard enough to prevent more than a little movement up the shaft (that’s a Uli, btw) then release the grip enough so that you can. Edging is keeping the penis erect for a long period without coming, think masturbation without the endgame. If you don’t feel the effects of a jelqing session for some time afterwards, you are probably doing it wrong.

So the jelqing intensity must be high on a 80-90% erect penis. I feel it is contradicting because I read some topics stating that jelqing hard on an erect penis causes damage to the veins. Yes, I can feel numb if I jelq hard for a period time after PEing. Should this be the correct feeling?

Define an 80-90% erection. You want some give in your erection. Numb is generally a bad feeling. Sore would be better.

I have the potential to erect to 100% but it is controlled to 80-90%. After warm down I see my penis plump so I assume it was a good exercise. However, when the penis is sore, it begins to turtle and feels corded the next few hours. This is when I feel I’ve overdone it.

You probably want it more like 70-80% of maximal volume. If the penis is too close to fully erect it becomes hard to actually form an effective grip. It sounds like you have a good idea of what you should be looking at, for a successful routine. You should really be sore but, you are right, turtling may be a negative indication. Try measuring your flaccid hang post routine.

Yeah man 5 is good my gf she likes me at 5.2 I was thicker b4 I gained all this weight heh I was like 210-240 when I was 10.5 plus inches long and 6 inches in girth jelqing helped with girth gonna try clamping.. Will see how this goes.. Yet another test on myself yet again.

Bumping an old thread but honest to god most women have said it’s either average or small girth. That’s been my experience.

7.25 to 7.5 length and about 5 in girth. Maybe 5.2 on a good day.

I’ve only had girls say big when bottoming out.

Really want to get up into the 5.5-6” MEG range. Don’t really see myself as thin around 5.1-5.2”, but it would be nice to be the former, as it would be seen as borderline thick to almost all, plus if you were close to 6” MEG, then either a weaker erection would still be thick, if that makes sense.

Honestly if I can hit around 8.5” BPEL, I think I’m going to largely switch gears and focus on girth for a while to get to at least 5.5” MEG. Anything last that length (or even somewhat below it) is almost purely for ego…whereas more girth would actually be useable/seen more favourably by most.

I am, but I’ve been focusing more on length as I’ve seemed to gain it easier than girth. So 75% length work and 25% girth work will be flipped if I can get to 8.5” BPEL or above.

Im one of the lucky ones that gain girth easier than length. Ive only been doing PE for about 3 weeks no change in length yet but my girth is at 5.2 and my flaccid girth is much more thicker than before i started PE. I took the weekend off i tugged JAI stretches a little to hard so ill start up again tonight.

Nobody addressed the OP’s question #2 or it was dismissed the one time I remember. The reason a 4.25” girth gains girth more slowly than one starting at 5” is because the amount of tissue you have to work with is much less (about 45%). So gaining 1/4” girth is a larger increase for the smaller starting girth. Unfortunately, that’s the math.

I started at 5.25” girth and my wife wasn’t terribly impressed. She really did notice and comment when I got past 5.5” girth.

I should ask her if she thinks a guy can make his penis bigger just to see what she says.
