Flaccid gains are the first positive sign of gaining, keep it up, take it SLOW (dont up the reps every time just to beat your last number…it’s a natural human instinct to want to quickly improve, but try keeping the same number of reps for a few weeks at a time at least!). Also, try to only measure once every month at MOST. You’ll quickly get discouraged or frightened if you measure every day or every week (for example, after a stretch session I’m sometimes .25” shorter in NBPEL…but it’s natural for the dick to retract after a good manual stretch session…by the next morning or day after it’s healed I’m back to normal).
Not to try and bring the focus to bashing PEgym, but Thundersplace is a noticeably ‘purer’ PE forum. I’m a member of both and have been frequenting each enough to know that PEgym has a lot of frauds posting (lying about gains for whatever reason), also much more financial incentive to push PE products over there (bathmate ads everywhere, etc). Also, many YOUNG guys, under 18 posting (meaning they’re still growing naturally, so how the hell do you know if the gains are natural or from PE). Another thing I see a lot over there is people posting entirely new ‘success’ threads, touting their ‘gains’ of .01257 inches in length! Which is ridiculous, because how can you even accurately measure length gains that small with a regular ruler, and how can you know that’s not just EQ or measuring difference anyways? I see that SO often over there and personally it’s more discouraging than seeing ‘failure’ threads lol…I do quite like their ‘Articles’ section on the main page though, those can get interesting and inspiring.
