Edema with phallosan.

Hello everybody!
Joined the forum a little while ago and I have had an account at pegym but unfortunately the forum has been quite sporadic with it’s access.

My question is that I bought the phallosan about a week and a half ago and I’ve noticed quite a bit of fluid retention/ edema on the bottom of my glands and foreskin. Not sure this helps but I’m uncut.

I’m wondering what usually causes edema, I’ve used pumps and I used to hang ( bought the phallosan because I can wear it at work without giving up a lot of my free time ) but never had edema using those techniques.

I’m not sure if this is because of the vacuum pressure. If anyone has some advice or knowledge on the issue your feedback would be appreciated!

I’ve read a few places that you want to minimise the amount of air in the vacuum bell, the more air, the more edaema. When I put on the glans protector I make sure there is no air at the tip and that it covers some of my foreskin as well. I place my glans (covered with protector) right into the bell so that it is almost nearly against the top of the bell, so when I pump the vacuum there is really very little air to pump out. I’ve also made a small hole in the top of my protector so that any air caught under it is also sucked out when I pump the vacuum. Try it and see if that makes any difference!

For putting a hole in the protector sleeve, wouldn’t it tear the hole more every time you stretch it to put it over your glands?

You’d think so, but no. And I’m talking about a really small hole, a few millimetres across. But I understand not everybody wants to go cutting holes in their equipment, but it worked for me haha

Just curious but is the phallosan the only type of PE in your routine?
