I started doing PE about a year and a half ago. When I first started, I did everything to the basics and made sure every little detail I got down. I did the newbie routine for about 2-3 weeks and in those two weeks, my penis felt like it was in the greatest shape ever. I was getting veins on my penis I never thought I had. My erections as well as morning wood were amazing. And finally, my penis was GROWING. I had gained about .2 inches in these 2-3 weeks. However.something possessed me to make a few changes after this short period of time. I decided to shave my pubes because I thought it would help me somehow improve my strokes as well as change my stroking form. Boy do I regret this.This not only resulted in crappy strokes with little to no bloodflow movement, but I also stroked HARDER trying to compensate for the crappy bloodflow. I carried this on for a good couple months being completely oblivious as to why I no longer made gains. After a total of 6 ish months with no progress, I decided to completely stop and figure things out and came to realize my mistakes. Anyways I tried to get back to the basics and do things the way I did when I first was getting results.and it’s not the same. I do things exactly as I did when I first started but my penis seems to not want to react the same way. Urgh. No length or girth gains, no stronger erections, and no increase in vascularity after workouts. Anyways just a story I thought I’d tell for all you that have just started.Be careful. Has anyone else experienced this and conquered it? I need some motivation heh.

Quite possible that your dick got used to the increase in intensity, you know, stroking harder while jelqing and all that.

Deconditioning breaks are usually called for. How long since you stopped PE?

In a way yes, it was just because I shaved, lol. Kind of stupid but true. Haven’t PE’d seriously in almost a year and started up this past week. I’m not sure jelqing harder would be the answer, who knows. Whenever I jelq with a lot of pressure I feel like I’m taking a step back in progress. Maybe I need to add more jelqing into my routines? I only jelq about 100-150 times in a routine. Hmm, now that I think about it, I DO remember having one great workout when I was taking a bath at a hotel. I must have jelqed about 300+ times lol.

Bear in mind that jelqing not only forces more blood into the CC but also invariably has a fluid buildup in the skin as a side effect. So the more you jelq the more fluid is taken to your dick. Not everything about the great flaccid hang afterwards is caused by inner tissue stretching and CC widening.

Oh snap, that’s a good point, Wally! I’m surprised I’ve never read that anywhere else until now. Jeez, and I thought I grew my unit in three weeks. Guess it is more of a marathon race than a sprint o.O

I don’t think what happened happened because you shaved your pubes. If anything, shaving them should have helped, less hair to get in the way and you can go deeper in the pubic base without anything blocking it. It sounds like you changed the winning formula too soon, and then to add to it, gave yourself a mental situation as well when you tried to ‘compensate’.

If you really need to know something not to do, don’t try to have an extended masturbation session less than a week after starting to PE. I think I just took a giant leap backwards doing that… *bangs head on desk*

If you eat pizza for lunch, then have a car accident, does eating pizza cause car accidents? Obviously the answer is no. Your shaving just happened to coincide with the time your Newbie gains were coming to an end.

As Wally indicated, a decon break might be the trick. The way I see it, you can either start to up your jelques by about 10% every week or so, or try taking a few weeks off. Either one has a good chance to jump start your gains, but I think the decon has a better chance.

Man shaving the pubes and the shaft hair is a must in my book. I don’t think pubic hair has the power to increase or decrease blood flow thus impact EQ.

If I jelq with that hair constantly rubbing against my shaft when I jelq my skin gets irritated and it’s a very pleasant PE session.

In my country almost all young men shave their pubic hair. There is no relation between PH and growth. I cannot see myself not shaving it, it’s grouse.

There are all kinds of gainer brands around. A few gain quickly (sprinters, so to speak), others have to work their way up over extended periods of time (the marathon runners); many guys have characteristics of both kinds - quick newbie gains followed by a plateau phase (that’s usually when the marathon starts).
