Hi all, I’ve known about PE for some time now, but put it off for years. I recently had a gf make suggestions that my penis was rather small. Full disclosure I am starting at about 5.5 in. BPEL. No idea about girth as of yet, but if I had to guess, probably around 4.5 or so.

I have a bathmate that I’ve bought a few months ago and used maybe 4-5 times max, and never consistently.

The first couple times I used them for maybe 15-20 mins flaccid, and it did nothing for me. It looked thicker for about 2 minutes before it “deflated”.
The next couple times I used them erect for anywhere from 30-45 mins to maybe even an hour. This made me pretty thick, with not much increase in length. The thickness stayed for a few hours, but eventually went away, and because I am uncut, my foreskin ballooned and looked cartoonishly like a rolled condom.

I’m here because I want to ask for some advice. I know that many people do not suggest using a bathmate as a beginner, however I would like to include it in my beginner routine.

So here are my questions, and if you must absolutely make a case for why I shouldn’t use it, please do.

* Do I use it before or after the beginner routine?
* As a beginner, am I being really dumb by using it at 30 minute - 1 hr at a time? (I’m aware that most people do it maybe 15 mins max).
* Should I use it flaccid or erect? Or is it okay to do both?

Thanks everyone. I want to really stick with this routine this time, I would absolutely like to fill my girl completely.

These are my opinions. I am not as experienced as other users in this site. Defer to their recommendations over mine.

After. I agree with the camp that you should do the beginner routine until you stop achieving gains, then you should try something new (like pumping). I personally started pumping after 3 months of the beginner routine and have had no problems adding it in, also my gains continued at the same pace as before. I didn’t take the advice to wait until gains stalled. I love to experiment and try new things. This was a personal choice, not necessarily the best choice if you want to maximize gains.

Probably, but it depends. Don’t bother listening to any hard and fast rules. If your PIs are good, then you’re fine. If you feel like your dick is gonna fall off after, no morning wood, bad erections, etc.. Then it’s probably too much. I think the most important thing about PE is learning to watch your PIs and use that as a guide rather than follow a routine to the letter. My opinion.

Either is fine. I prefer erect and I believe the pumping guide on this site says to do it erect. Do which you feel is best and gives you the best workout.

CptAverage - when you say after, do you mean immediately after? Sorry about the confusion, I meant in terms of the actual routine, do I use the bathmate as a cool down rather than a warmup.

I second what cptaverage is saying about starting the Newbie routine without the use of the bathmate. I started with a bathmate also and I did gain but honestly it slowed me down in the long run gain wise. I got over conditioned from pumping rather quickly. That and it’s hard to discipline yourself on your time in the tube and keeping the pressure low.

You’ll probably have a hard time gaining if you don’t know how your penis should react to PE. Often times guys find that they can gain easier with less force than they think. Best of luck

Here are my thoughts as a previous bathmate user …

* Do I use it before or after the beginner routine?
Either would have it’s pro’s and con’s I think. I’ve used it before as a "warm up" but went pretty low pressure and about 50% erect. Broke it out in three 5 minute sessions with fire goat rolls in between (DO FIRE GOAT ROLLS). I think it helps warm the penis up a bit for more exercises. I wouldn’t go full pressure as fluid build up really isn’t that great, especially the build up you got previously. I could see using it after as well since your dick would be pretty loose and it might help with more expansion. When I used for warm up I would do light pressure and kegel throughout, didn’t cause any pain, but I noticed a bluish bruising on my glans after that went away fairly quick, so I stopped doing that.

My opinion, yes. Even the instructions say use it 20 minutes max I believe. Without any gauge, you really don’t know how much pressure you’re putting on yourself. Over time you could be causing a lot of damage. Since you’re still new (not doing any PE consistently), you’ll want to condition yourself well before doing any kind of extreme max out stuff. Break up the sessions, do fire goat rolls between to eliminate fluid build up.

Both, but break up into shorter sessions. Start off with lower erection (maybe even flaccid) and work your way up each session. Just make sure you’re paying attention to PI’s along the way. I have a high pain tolerance so when I used it I didn’t pay much attention to that, BIG MISTAKE.

Going too hard with the bathmate can cause issues such as discoloration and extra skin (although you’re uncut, I could see it stretching it even more).

From one guy to another, I’d say ditch it for now and pick it back up later. Learn the proper techniques for the manual exercises. Sure the bathmate is fun, can give you temp gains, but I never thought those temp gains were worth much since it was more of a spongy erection than a rock hard one like normal. If you decide to continue using it, just make sure you’re not overdoing it.
