The stealth cap works by creating a vacuum seal against the penis, essentially being the “plug.” Everything stays put and I find it much more comfortable than other ADS/extender variations. It takes practice putting it on effectively but it is worth it. I have been able to wear this for 8+ hours with no problems (during the day with breaks).
I haven’t really messed with it for sleeping, because I don’t want to mess with constricting my erections. In my experience the deeper the cap the more uncomfortable, mainly because you need to fill the cap shape with your flaccid glans; then if you get an erection it is really uncomfortable. As I said, the vacuum effect is achieved with the stealth cap as well.
For hanging, I have gone up to about 15 lbs before the vacuum was giving me a water blister on my tip, and starting to slip. So there might be more benefit to a larger cap with more surface area. But I would go with other strapping methods if you want to go above 15 lbs. That’s my experience atleast!
