Any advantage to stretching over hanging

Any advantage to stretching over hanging

I’ve already done the newbie routine, and I’m thinking of hanging instead of stretching. Is there any downside to this? Seems a lot easier to do, and supposedly more effective. Thanks.

Disadvantages of hanging:

- more expensive
- less stealthy
- higher risk of injury
- less directions to work your penis on
- more time consuming

- higher risk of injury>

I disagree. The force exerted with a manual stretch (even if you are relatively weak) will be FAR greater than what most people have ever hung with. Moral of the story: stretching isn’t a newbie exercise (IMO) and can leave you with very tough ligs/tunica.

So you’re suggesting that newbies hang first instead of manual stretching Klayton?

You can adjust the amount of power that you use to stretch, so that newbies can’t perform stretching is nonsense. I agree that when you are pulling so hard that you are trying to rip it off it becomes risky.

Stretching is also a fairly natural way of using your penis, just like jelqing. Hanging isn’t that. There is a higher risk of injury with hanging because you need much more time before you can take it off compared to stretching.

Yeah, but you can hang while you’re working or surfing the web (at home), unlike w/ stretching. In fact, my hands get very tired doing ten minutes of stretching, plus you have to re grip all the time if it slips.

Is the lack of different directions that big a deal? Why do so many regs do it, then?

Also, could someone link to a basic explanation of how to hang, what materials I need, etc. I tried searching, but couldn’t find anything on point.

Shake: Look at the first sticky on the Hanger’s forum.

I have stretched hundreds of times while surfing at the web, so I don’t get that problem. You only need the mouse for surfing and can type with one hand.

That your hands get tired is a problem, yes but when you stretch for a few months those problems will vanish because your hand gets stronger from stretching and other manual exercises. Troubles with slippery will vanish when you grip properly. This means grab tightly with an OK grip just behind the head. Put some blood, through a kegel or jelq, in you head to improve the grip.

For some people the ligs get a better workout in a other direction than a hanging direction. To make sure you attack all areas, you would stretch in the five common directions, ideally in 9 directions.

Can one do a stretch/jelq routine along with a hanging routine? Or is this dangerous to be done simultaneously?

Very cautiously, yes. I think the newbie routine should consist solely of reading; don’t do anything until you’re virtually an expert.
